If you need a place to stay for just one night and are looking for an affordable option, this hotel offers good value for the price. However, don’t expect any extras or amenities. The room lacked basic essentials such as shampoo, a hairdryer, or even properly white towels—the ones provided were more of a grayish color. Additionally, I noticed a few ants in the room, which was quite unexpected. One of the strangest things was that the TV remote was handed over together with the room key, something I’ve never encountered before in any hotel.
That being said, I didn’t notice any issues with the cleanliness of the room. Everything appeared to be properly cleaned, and there were no unpleasant odors or visible dirt.
The receptionist was professional and efficient, neither particularly warm nor cold. They handled the check-in and check-out process smoothly, which I appreciated. However, the bathroom and toilet were extremely small, making them uncomfortable to use, and the ventilation was poor, which could be an issue, especially in warmer weather.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its excellent location. It is conveniently situated, making it easy to reach key attractions or transportation hubs. This can be a huge plus if you’re planning to explore the area and just need a place to sleep.
Overall, if you only need a place to rest for the night and have no expectations beyond a basic bed and shelter, this hotel will meet your needs. But if you’re traveling with family, looking for comfort, or have even slightly higher standards, I would not recommend...
Read morewe got rooms in an adjacent building, 100 meters away from the main house on Peterfia Street. Ours were on a little street, quiet and bordered by a nice wine shop that we discovered only too late. This second building had about 10 rooms, and a small kitchen in the basement, that had the basic amenities plus 3-4 tables and chairs, which were quite handy. one of our rooms had a small patio outside that is precious especially if you smoke. rooms were big enough, and everything was clean, soap and fluffy towels provided. the wifi worked like a charm. it is fairly close to the city center and the termal baths and there are small nice cafe houses and restaurant near by. the staff spoke reasonable English. no air conditioning, however the building is old and provides some degree of natural coolness in the hot summer days. we havent tried breakfast in the main building which has a nice inner court with wooded tables and chairs. ideal for...
Read moreWe have stayed here for 2 nights and will come back for sure.
The location is central, 15 minutes walk to the Aquaticum, 10 minutes to the city centre. There is also a mall nearby (5 mins walk) and a bar and restaurant just across the street.
The staff is very nice and friendly and they speak good english.
The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with everything you could need. There is also a small terrace for every room which is amazing.
A big plus is the closed parking lot, which is actually across the street from the pension, but you will receive every details you need when you check in.
We highly recommend the breakfast as well which consists in everything one could want: eggs, ham, butter, jam, vegetables, sausages, cereals, good coffee etc.
Overall the price to quality ratio is very good and we will return here for sure every...
