That was the worse place I ever visited. There was no parking spot for us when we arrived. They promised me that before. Then I heard that on the next day I should come at 8AM and parking place will be fixed. And it wasn’t... So i had to pay in some other spot 1600 forint for a day of parking, and after 2 hours the hotel told me that finally they have a place for me... and they charge me for that ! So I paid double for this day : )... ||We have been informed that breakfast included is served between 8-10, so we arrive at 9:15. There was almost nothing left to eat, not even a plate to grab the “rest” of what was left. Absolutely nothing to drink aswell... When I ask about a plate or food the young waiter was very rude, making an excuses and angry faces. Treating me like an enemy or intruder there. I just grab some dry leftovers and try to sit in a table in the restaurant. Then he got angry that I can not seat in the restaurant because he wants to clean it. I said well it’s fine I can seat in terrace. I go sit down and he comes angry again that we can not sit here too, and tell me to go somewhere at the end. Table was dirty, without napkins and not even a knife to cut the bread. I call a waiter again asking for a knife and he got absolutely irritated. I got angry to be moved and moved and told him what kind of breakfast service is it ?? I can’t even sit down and i went to reception to ask lady there to help me out with this mean person. She said please sit down anywhere u like at terrance so did I. And this rude waiter came to move my stuff from the table and moved me again :) I asked him why there is nothing to eat. He walked angry away. The restaurant workers were so disrespectful and not friendly at all. That was really bad experience and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Just heads up for anyone thinking of staying here - be ready for some issues. There were cobwebs on the windows and chandelier, and it felt like maintenance wasn't really keeping up with things. Our room had this annoying drip from heating radiator that wouldn't stop, even though we mentioned it repeatedly and asked them to fix it. One day they changed our sheets and it turned out they had chocolate stains - our previous ones were actually cleaner.
Breakfast was pretty monotonous: super limited options - basically just eggs or an omelet every day, sometimes oversalted. Not enough veggies, toppings, or sides.
Dinners on the other hand were amazing. Tons of variety - different soups, really good goulash with meat, pasta dishes, whatever you're in the mood for.
The reception ladies were kind and quite helpful, although on the last day we had a little misunderstanding where the front office thought we were leaving without paying even though we had paid upfront. We had to show them proof (unlucky if you don't keep receipts). They ended up calling the lady who had accepted our payment and it got resolved.

My dad booked the stay online what he was not aware that he should have contacted the property directly. Upon check in time the receptionist took the voucher also knew the booking was incorrect they have charged them for the full 2night half board stay plus they have redeemed the voucher . They are very lucky this has happened in Hungary, they would have sucked you for this in Hungary plus you would be in a massive trouble. But as we are in Hungary they can do what they want, rip off old village people who does not go out much and did not know about how this really works. Staff is so unhelpful. As i work as a reception manager i exactly know what could be done just simply the receptionist should have called booking.com explain the mistake because this happened many times at my work and they are very understandable and rectify it straight away.||But this hotels management and staff absolutely disgraceful, obviously need to make some money as nobody was around. Staff knowledge at reception is zero, the furniture in the rooms are stained.||Thanks for ruining a surprise and i hope they will shut this dodgy running hotel...
