This looked like being a hard review to write as, when one finds such a gem at a low price, the temptation is to keep it to yourself!||Polly, the manager, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The huts are clean and have everything one needs. The only shortfall in terms of facilities is that there is no hot water and the huts could do with a bit more storage. The beds are firm but comfortable and mosquito nets are provided.||Rooms are cleaned on request, and the balconies are cleaned daily. The gardener empties, rinses and refills the water bowls (for washing your feet) every morning.||The restaurant area is on the beachfront and is clean but basic. The quality of the food is patchy, some items are excellent, but others are poor and the quality varies depending on who is cooking on the day.||Dream View is near the north end of Agonda, which is, in our opinion, the better end and the "bat tree" (one of the local points of interest) can be seen from most of the rooms.||We stayed there twice during our winter in Goa, once over new year and again in Feb. and were delighted with the place at the price they were charging.||What makes this review easier is that prices have gone through the roof for the 2015/6 season. Last season we paid 1500 rupees/night over new year and 1200 in Feb. This coming season they have put their prices up to over 4000 rupees/night. This pricing level is the same as Ciarans in Palolem and Blue Lagoon in Cola and I think is similar to H2O. At 2014/5 prices Dream View is a little gem, but it doesn't have the facilities or cuisine to compete on even terms with the...
Read moreWe stayed at Agonda Dream View at the far north end of the Agonda beach during December end 2014. While we chose this place only by accident, we could not have made a better choice.||The beach is quiet, clean and simply fabulous. The food & fish that one gets both at Agonda dream view and in the village is fresh and prepared very well.||We stayed at the beach facing huts right on the beach and while the facilities were basic, it was very clean and extremely reasonable. The proprietors were very warm, friendly & looked after us very well.||||We go to goa every year and usually stay in the northern parts, but this experience changed our view of Goa. Will highly recommend this property to those looking for a quiet &...
Read moreThese huts have a wonderful view to the ocean and are located a bit up the hill. All is very natural and you can really relax very good. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic main road, but when go for a coffee or to a restaurant it takes only 5 minutes. We stayed here for 4 weeks to make a yoga course in the school in the neighborhood. We enjoyed it here very much. Our host Poli is a very nice and friendly person and together with his wife he takes very good care about the accomodation. We highly recommend this nice...
