HOTEL TOUCHWOOD — Hotel in Andhra Pradesh

The worst hotel stay ever.. Here my experience is.. I am traveling with my wife and 2years daughter My check-in time is 12pm, I called them around 5pm for 8pm check-in, when I reached hotel, they keep me waiting for more than 20min for a reason of room cleaning At the time of check-in, I requested them for late check-out. They said it's additional amount 1000₹. I accepted it. Coming to the room, it's neat and clean but no door mats at washroom. When I ask them, they said no door mats due to shortage. Next day, While going outside, we gave room card for cleaning and we came back after 5 hours, room was not cleaned and they told us silly reason, cleaning staff not available. We should wait atleast 30min for any basic services like water bottles, coffe kits etc.. Even after 24hrs stay, they didn't ask for cleaning once. Not at all bothered about cleaning. At the time of check out, they asked for 1500₹ additional amount. Again explained everything thing about check-in discussion to pay 1000₹.

I faced an embarrassing, situation by booking this hotel through MMT. I have done booking for a period of 3-5 October, but in the morning of 3 Oct , I got a call from hotel and they just telling due to some cyclone their hotel system is breakdown and no power supply and forced us to cancel our booking . Later I called through a different number for a reservation query and they smartly answered hotel is fully booked and no mentioned at all like system b/d or power supply issue. I believed that they forced our advanced booking due to some last hour high cost booking which is not a good professionalism. Requesting MMT to verify this if any such type of system/power breakdown occurred in that day for which check in denied at the last moment. Really not giving any star rating for my experience with this property...

I had stayed here on 3rd oct 2024 and it gas the worst experience ever. Trust me cheaper hotels deliver better experience. Firstly they mentioned vallet parking but i was-not able to get one. Lift doesnt work and you will have to carry luggages to third floor. Ordered tea got delivered after 50 mins. They said they have their own restaurant but upon ordering it was from a nearby resturant. Extremely inexperienced staff no coordination amongst themselves. For a room of 3k per night it should justify. Had it not been evening and had i not been tired i would have walked out of the hotel. I checked out at 8:15 am paid the food bill and left yet got a call at 11:15 am asking to checkout and pay the dues . Please do not waste...
