They'll give in a carry bag. Put your vehicle keys in that same carry bag and give it to pandit ji in the Shri Ganesh mandir. While taking it, he will ask for your name and gotra, and will offer it to Bhagwan and give it back to you. Tie the sacred ribbon and lemons on the vehicle and put the flower somewhere on your vehicle. Keep the loose lemons, one under each wheel, in such a way that they should get crushed when you'll start your ride. I went here to perform Puja for my car TATA NEXON EV. pujari came and performed puja to shower GODs blessings. After Puja he gave Harathi and completed and went back to the temple.

Here you have to know/observe how much he demanded to perform puja.
