Reply to Vistaram :||||1. Vistaram may have many properties in Vizag, but that cannot be an yardstick for measuring the reputation & standard of a hotel.||2. My booking was in " Vistaram Near Railway Station " from 21.12.2015 to 26.12.2015 & not in " Hotel Madhura Inn A/C " where actually we were provided with a room ( Room no. 303 ) & that too not of the same or similar look or with same facilities & amenities which had been displayed in the Go Ibibo Website ( Royal King A/C ) before my booking a room in Vistaram.||3. It is incorrect to suggest that an occupier will change or upgrade his accommodation bearing an unnecessary and extra charge when you have failed to provide the assured accommodation .||4. My total advance payment for booking " Vistaram " through " Go Ibibo " was Rs.9818 for an accommodation in " Royal King A/C Room " with complimentary Breakfast & Dinner ( MAP ) from 21.12.2015 to 26.12.2015. When you have clarified in your feedback that I had booked the room of about Rs.900/Day so, I am entitled to a refund of [ 9818 - ( 900 * 5 Days ) ]= Rs. 5318 .||5. Surprisingly, Dinner served at night in our room used to come from " Sri Sairam Restaurant A/C ( Veg, Non-Veg & Parcell Counter )" Opposite RTC Complex, Asilmetta Jn. Beside KFC, Visakhapatnam.||6. Rather than really understanding what a tourist - occupier expects in his room while he is on furlow , you have interpreted insufficient / absence of light into a flood light installation - a very poor thought.||7. Your allegation that breakfast had been sent to our room no. 303 & there was no response is not correct. Everyday we had to go outside for tour , but on 26.12.2015 , We were in our room till 10.30 a.m. , but we did not get Breakfast though we had communicated with Vistaram Front Desk over phone & they had assured that breakfast would arrive soon. One cannot expect Breakfast after 10.30 a.m.||8. Your allegation that housekeeping staff was able to clean our room only twice is because of your own latches. When you have assured for round the clock house keeping services , it is your obligation to ensure that the room is cleaned while the tourist-occupiers are in the room. Because of unforeseen circumstances, We had to check – in at about 10.30 p.m. on 21.12.2015. When we entered the room, we discovered a stained , uncleaned bedsheet lying stretched on the bed ; next day they replaced the same first with a bed cover with a clearly visible big hole on it & finally they changed the same. ||||This is the type of 3 Star best Accommodation facilities & hospitality for which you feel very proud.|| My father & mother are aged about 67 & 58 years respectively . They stayed with me in that room & had to face all these inconvenience caused to us. All the above are clear pointer to the fact that Vistaram failed in its clear commitment & committed breach of trust & your feedback is a feeble attempt to cover up your own laches...
Read moreThis was a bad experience. They checked us in to Madhura inn. Very poor booking through goibibo..The hotel is worst. Do not go with family. Even though we just stayed for the night, these guys gave us a smoking room and said these are non-smoking rooms. AC was bad and the service too. There is no restaurants, for getting a cup of tea you have to wait for minm 45 mins as the boy goes to some other restaurants and bring the tea for you. Forget about the food!
