Hotel Regent Laguna — Hotel in Anjuna

Rooms are maintained just average. Many walls has cracks and cement has come out in some places of the room. They have provided us the worst room (201) initially where cleaning was not done and lot of dust lying on the floor and the floor under chairs looks never cleaned. Main door chain lock is broken. Pillow covers and bed sheets were not washed properly. Upon escalation they have changed the room to 210 which is better. If better room is available then why tried to give the worst room initially?? Wi-Fi connectivity is pathetic. I have tried every corner of the hotel but no where full signal is available. Most of the time wifi signals not reaching the room. Speed is also not very good if connected. Hand shower in the bathroom was also not working. Breakfast: very limited items provided. First day it was good and second day worst. Dinner is good. Restaurant staff are kind, friendly and cooperative. Reception/front desk people are not very friendly and shows little attitude. The telephone line is worst (80% noise) and the reception people will hang up the call without answering your questions. I had to call 3 times for getting a towel and finally I had to go down and bring it by my own. Location is bit remote but close to Anjuna beach. Parking is available. I booked it through make my trip and I booked super deluxe room and I got deluxe room, my room lock was also not working even if I lock it from inside it is getting Open frol outside,

I informed them that me room is not getting locked, I had to go out for outing so I told them that lock it manually, they said they will check, I came back at evening and saw that my door was at same situation not getting Locked, this has been carried out till 3 days, after multiple complains they did at 4th day, I stayed there for 5 days,

I didn't had good experience here

Positive points Location wise this hotel is best to book Hotel is only 5 mins distance from anjuna beach, and 10 mins from vagator beach and 15 mins from baga beach Food is tasty Rented vehicle is available in the hotel itself and that too at Normal rate Staff is supportive

Honestly, I did not like the visit to the hotel 'Regent Laguna'. Inspite of booking superior delux room we faced several issues.. I have booked 3 rooms as I have visited with my family. We checked-in late and informed before our visit to keep the rooms ready. When we arrived, following problems we faced. There were no water in the any of the 3 bathrooms. I had to call soo many times and after 35mins we got the access to water. Solar was not working. As my father is having asthma, he cannot take cold water bath in the morning. Usually hotels will be having geyser or solar.. but in this hotel it has non working solar.. I asked to arrange for hot water and the house keeping who brought tiny stool refused to give hot water to 203 room. There was a clog in the bathroom. Water was not draining and everything was floating. Such a pathetic experience.. There was a cockroach in the cupboard. I have taken pic as well. I can share the same. We have faced these many problems in a single night stay. If you are charging such a huge amount then we also expect the best service. I would say only the food was good. My family suffered alot and could not enjoy the stay at 'Regent Laguna'. I do not recommend to anyone. Very...
