Hotel Mahalaxmi Indo Myanmar — Hotel in Assam

booked this hotel after seeing many positive reviews but we were disappointed with the room.||i dont understand how some say its very good to stay in.||whats good about it is , its centrally and conviniently located, on platan bazar, but it ends there.||Its a small property as u expect in crowded market place.||with no window view/ventilation. linen was dirty, and I couldnt drink water from the dirty jug. (aka kool keg) when i asked a steel jug instead , i got another of those plastic thermal jugs.||TV is the smallest 1 can get in hotels, but that wasnt an issue for me.||When i asked for a toilet roll replacement, they got a very old pale roll , with fungus on it. yikes.||after all this i did expect the wifi to be namesake only and thats what it is. very poor speed and dropping connectivity. good i stayed there just 1 night, and can only be considered for night stop overs.||in short an overpriced hotel. if you are judging its quality...

Extremely pathetic stay

The hotel has numerous problems some of which are as follows:-

Very old and lacks maintenance Smelly rooms During our stay lift malfunctioned multiple times. Staff did not attend till I called up MakeMyTrip and complained against them. The rooms have no outside view Staff extremely rude, lethargic and extremely uncooperative. They are more faithful to the management than serving the customers. I stayed at this hotel for 3night,well the best part is it is located at hub. From there it is very easy to get any mode of travel. And also the hotel takes early morning check in without extra cost,as well whereas all other hotel,motel or any luxury hotel will not do. However I did not find the service up to the standard specially check in. On my very last day I ordered breakfast which you can see which was not at presentable at all and the paratha was half way uncooked. Traveller like me don’t have problem with paying if you give quality but with this food I am sorry but it is not worthy of paying Rs.310.
