My recent stay at Holiday Inn, Yeshwantpur was a blend of comfort and frustration, leaving me with mixed feelings about the overall experience. While the hotel had its merits, several significant drawbacks overshadowed these positives, especially considering the high rate I paid.
Comfortable Stay: On the positive side, the hotel provided a very comfortable environment. The bed was plush and conducive to a good night's sleep, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was pleasant. The common areas were clean and well-maintained, offering a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
Room Size and Lack of Amenities: However, the comfort of the stay did not extend to the room itself. The room was extremely small, making it difficult to maneuver around, especially with luggage. This cramped space was disappointing and not what I expected for the high price. Furthermore, the room lacked basic amenities that one would typically find in a hotel at this price point. There was no minibar, coffee or tea-making facilities, and even essential toiletries were missing. This absence of amenities was a significant letdown.
Service Issues: The most frustrating aspect of my stay was the poor service. I had to call the help desk more than three or four times for various issues, ranging from needing toothpaste to addressing problems with the room's air conditioning. Each time, my calls went unanswered for long periods, and on the rare occasions they were picked up, the responses were slow. This lack of responsiveness and care from the staff was unacceptable and severely impacted my experience.
Buffet Breakfast: One of the few highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast. The selection was good, with a variety of both hot and cold options, including fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, and several cooked-to-order items. The quality of the food was commendable, and the dining area was clean and well-organized. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, which was a pleasant contrast to the help desk experience.
High Rates and Value for Money: Considering the small room size, lack of amenities, and poor service, the rate for my stay was very high and did not offer good value for money. At this price point, I expected a much higher standard of service and room quality. It felt as though I was paying for a premium experience but receiving something far below standard.
Overall Impressions: In summary, while Holiday Inn offers a comfortable environment and a good breakfast, the overall experience was disappointing. Read moreI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Holiday Inn Yeswantpur, Bangalore, from February 4th to February 8th, 2024. Despite booking the hotel through our corporate booking portal with Mahindra, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Upon my arrival at the hotel on February 5th at 5:30 am, I was immediately struck by the cramped and congested nature of the room. Despite booking for single occupancy, I was allocated a twin bed room, exacerbating the already limited space. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with visible hairs and dust accumulating in corners.
In an attempt to rectify the cleanliness issue, I promptly placed a cleaning request card on the door before leaving for duty at 9 am. However, upon my return in the evening, I was dismayed to find that the room had not been cleaned, and the request card was still hanging on the door. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, I was met with resistance and argumentation, with the staff claiming that same-day cleaning was not possible. Despite my insistence that I was entitled to a clean room as a paying guest, the staff remained obstinate and unhelpful.
Furthermore, the lack of basic amenities such as water bottles and tea bags in the room was disappointing. It became evident that there was a severe lack of management oversight, as evidenced by the narrow corridors littered with food plates and dust.
The culmination of my dissatisfaction occurred during dinner on February 8th when I waited an egregious 1 hour and 45 minutes for my meal, despite multiple follow-ups with the staff. This level of incompetence and disregard for guest satisfaction is unacceptable.
I implore my company to reconsider its partnership with Holiday Inn Yeswantpur and remove it from our tie-up list. Additionally, despite providing feedback and a low rating upon check-out, there was a noticeable lack of apology or acknowledgment from the hotel staff, further underscoring their disregard for customer service.

Day 1 of their Stay I had to listen a hell complain from my client and immediately they wanted to shift their Room to other Good Property near yeshwantpur, Bangalore. Holiday Inn has put me down like something. Now I lost my Client and my Money as well which i paid in advance to the Hotel. Here is my Complain message to the DM which also went in vain with no response to this even over the call as well. Dear Team. This is really a very bad disappointment by your Brand Property at Yeshwantpur Bangalore. My 3 Guests with 3 Nights Stay has to check-out with such an odd and... feedback about the property. Since my last night complain regarding 1 Room Check-out saying the bedding condition... No one is concerned to even solve this issue and now my 2 More Room Guests have checked out tonight itself. I have made the complete payment and I have no response for my money and with a bad remarks from my client for my arrangement for their stay. I can take this complain to the extent........ but for no use as I lost my Client and my Money what I paid because of your Hell Maintenance / Condition of the Property. Moreover my client complain was about the Room Size. In fact all my 3 Room Bookings were on Single Occupancy. They said its kind of a Lodge.... This is what your Brand has earned.
Your Front office Team / Call Handling Team is also so un professional and unable to communicate properly with me over call regarding same last night. Clearly an Illiterate kind of response from your team of evening shift staffs is what even I found by myself.
