Veekay lodge — Hotel in Bengaluru

We had booked a family room of 4 beds On MMT online,We travelled to Bangalore at 12.30 am,with family and 2 year kid,On Arrival the manager denied us room saying "Room is not available n how come MMT has booked it"..He had recd notification on his mobile about our booking but he had not checked it and had given the room to other guest,so he was pressuringus to cancel the booking...As it was late in the night we requested him for small 2 Bed room with extra beds,which he denied initially,I had to call MMT customer care and they convinced him for another room.....We thought the prob was solved and wer ready to sleep at 2 am.....But as we used the bathroom,All the Bathroom water started flowing down in the room from nowhere,Our luggage,our Shoes,and even the extra bed was fully wet and we could not stay there for even 5 mins....Again I spoke to Manager he was refusing for another room and MMT cust care had to intervene again...Finally we left from there and had to find other good Lodge which we found at 5 am in morning....I have Requested MMT to blacklist the VK lodge from its site after this horrible...

Would not recommend this hotel. Cockroaches running all around. In one room, one thing like geyser will be missing, in another room a mirror will be missing, the water pump stops working often, no daily room service is ever done! As much as possible the owner will try to make you cancel your online booking and pay in cash, that too way way more than what you have paid online. Also if you don't have a booking then the owner will overcharge you heavily!! If not cockroaches, you will have a lot of ants. Garbage bins are also kept in these open spaces, leading to more cockroaches. Did I forget to mention that there are at least 5-10 cats that roam freely in the hotel and all night every garbage bin kept outside is turned upside down by the cats, its contents out so that the cats can eat. I have especially noticed a lot of people who spit paan are generally living here. Look at the garbage bins and you will get...

Veekay Lodge & Veekay Regency are the same one. Worst hotel to stay. The most unhygienic place (photos have been uploaded). There is no lift in the hotel and intercom system; 4 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, every time need to go down to call the service person. Rooms are without ventilation; TV; geyser were not working in three rooms, blankets had a hole; reception staff/manager are not appointed. The hotel is left with 2 to 3 Housekeeping staff members who are teenagers. When I reached there I was kept wetting as the rooms were not ready, the staff was unaware of the booking. Owner Mr Mohammed Rashid receives a calls only during office hours & doesn’t receive a call at odd hours even though his customers facing hundreds of problems. Better to stay on the footpath than to stay...
