In one sentence, Worst experience ever!

My sister was on a trip to bangalore for an exam and I booked a room for two in this hotel for Rs. 2500 a day. Chosen this hotel because it was close to the railway station and train will arrive early morning and only two girls were travelling.

It was mentioned in the terms and condition that they wil try to accommodate early based on room availability and nowhere it was mentioned it is chargeable. Anyway charging is acceptable and was ready to pay the extra until I came to know that i had to pay 3500 extra for a room for which original cost was 2500 for a full day(total 6000 approx)

They cited the reason as early checkin and three person was there during the time of checkin although they were informed that the third person will not be staying. They were suppose to go to exam center after checkin and the third person was accompanying them for exam who will not be staying in the room. Even if we consider the third person, cost for room would have been 3500 and they would have charged utmost 2000 extra for early checkin. Instead they made them pay extra 3500.

This means we had to pay 6000 rupees for the stay of two people one night. Since already tired after long journey and hotel not listening to the argument they had to finally pay the demanded money to checkin.

I travel all over the world and many times do early checkin and late checkin but never had such experience. More than money I was shocked by the sheer unprofessionalism and disregard for the customer. This hotel is a disgrace to hospitality industry and i suggest people to stay away unless you have no...

I'm here to share my experience with hotel grand arabian.

I booked a room in this hotel a week back with my cousin sister who came from native to do some important passport work, when we walked towards the reception they asked us Id proof as usual which is quite mandatory and i appriciate this policy as per govt regulations. I asked a guy over there about 2 wheeler parking as i wasn't aware of 2 wheeler parking there. He guided me orally to park it infront of hotel so i had to go downstairs to park it leaving my cousin sister alone there for hardly 5 mins. The moment i went downstairs the receptionist(A thin guy) started giving her badlooks and made her very uncomfortable. He kept staring at her in a very bad way. It was so unprofessional as when we left the hotel she started crying and explained me what happened there. This is humilation, i never expect such a unprofessional behaviour from oyo. She got humilated there, is this the way to treat women? It was so intolerable. As we were very far from that hotel i couldn't go back there or else i would have broken his face and kicked him out from that hotel also will have filed a complaint against him for harrassment.

I request everyone here never go to that hotel with a girl/women as this hotel is disgusting and women aren't safe there.

I had a good experience staying at Hotel Grand Bee for 2N 3D.

Room: I stayed in a single studio room as I traveled Solo. The atmosphere was good, hygenic and neatly maintained. Some blankets were dirty and one corner had spider webs but those were immediately rectified once informed to room service.

There was a study room setup which was useful for doing office work.

Amenities: Wifi, TV, storage space, hot water facility were good.

Food: I had a complementary breakfast with the booking and the food was good. There were many items and add ons were also provided on request without additional charges.

Location: The location is just close to Yeshwantpur railway station and so connectivity from here was good. One drawback is that since there is a ditch and meat shops nearby, during some hours there might be some discomfort to go outside. During busy hours, I faced difficulty in getting cab / auto as the drivers were hesitant to enter the narrow streets.
