Prestige Stay Inn — Hotel in Bengaluru

I had booked rooms here in November, 2019, and I had a wonderful experience. Since I was having a function at home, and this hotel was close to where I stay, and considering the good experience I had had, I booked rooms yet again (in December 2020). There is a stark change!! I was told the management had changed, and it was very obvious that the new management was only bothered about money.

Basic facilities like hot water (in the cold month of December) was not available. Although the hotel staff made suitable arrangements, the essence of having accommodation closeby was lost since the guests could not make it in time. No reason was reason was given for why hot water was not available.

The hotel staff started following up for payment of the room charges the night before the scheduled checkout date. I found this very annoying since my guests were going to be staying till the pre-agreed check out time. I didn't see any reason why the staff had to ask for payment before check out. And this was at 9pm!!

This being so, and considering the way the staff were talking rudely, I asked to speak to the owner/ higher up, one Mr.Biharilal Gangwani. I had met this gentleman while booking the rooms and presumed he'd solve my issue. Mr.Gangwani apparently told his staff he was unavailable and cannot speak to me. I would think, being in the hospitality business, a customer's call should be of utmost importance to him.

Having said so, the quality of the rooms and the the cleanliness maintained was very good. I booked 2 rooms for about Rs.2200/- each. This hotel is definitely a good place to stay, if you take out the bad behaviour of the staff...

I Was on a business trip alone, Stayed for 3 days as I had to go to BIEC, it took 30-45 mins max if u start by 9-9.30am. It’s a good compact hotel with well maintained big rooms & neat bathroom, around 20+ rooms I suppose. They also have a good veg. restaurant at the 4th floor, very busy. The 2 Managers were extremely dedicated, every day they organised Breakfast & went to all rooms & informed personally & the breakfast was different for all 3 days, which was good. The morning breakfast preparation cooks & staffs, their service was also extremely good. They also have car parking facility in the stilt area. I had a good experience here.

Near and clean rooms are here and few parking is also available. More than 8 cars can park here.

The service is also good. 24by7 hot water is available here and AC is also good. Bathrooms are neat and clean.

Rooms are spacious and the large bed in my room can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children..

There is one separate vegetarian restaurant here which was on 4th floor . It was bit costly but food is very good..
