Are you a 45 degree angle? Coz you are A Cute.
If Geometry class had taught me this, I would have stayed in the class for more. However the Geometry I am talking about today has enough reasons for one to spend a long lovely time. Yes, to start with the Geometry Gastro Pub has about 21 varieties of Long Island Iced Tea.
Yes, you heard it right, they boast of having the longest list of Long islands in the city. 21 was the count when I visited.
The Mistletoe kiss, Envy Kiwi, Purple crown, High Voltage, Lady don, Pop Korn, Gangster's Paradise, Kimaya, Dark Side, Dark Expression, Lavandula to name a few and unlike the saying "What's in a name" a lot of detail on how potent the drink is really hides in these names. For example: Gangster's Paradise is a combination of five white spirits while Dark Side is a mystic Fusion of Activated charcoal n Voodoo, I mean Vodka :)
We tried Pepo (Mint+Watermelon+Lychee+5 white spirits), Dark Side (with the Activated Charcoal), Kimaya (Gin,Pan,Saffron & Pineapple), Viridis's mentha (White rum based minty LIT) and High Voltage (just like the sound of it, an electrifying blend of 5 spirits with Budweiser Beats)
I also tried a classic Whisky cocktail known as Don Vito (a rendition of the Classic Godfather). It really looked like a Jewel being brought to the table in a smoke filled Glass dome.
The Cocktails were very pleasant and refreshing yet balancing the various elements perfectly : Alcohol strength, Sweetness, Bitterness, temperature, A tad sourness and texture.
Don't forget the food: To compliment the Cocktails we had the Geometry Fried Chicken Wings that had the right portion size as well as the spice element to elevate the experience. We also had Cheese bites and Hot Chilli Basil chicken which was perfect to balance the flavours. For the main course we had Garlic Naan and Butter chicken which definitely had some Punjabi connection to it as it helped maintain the alcohol's good feel.
No one said No to dessert after a good Cocktail session and hence we finished it all with a Tiramisu, the ultimate finisher with Classic coffee and Rum.
While we couldn't take away the cocktails, we did take away a portion of the Geometry Fried Chicken wings which I am relishing as I post this. Finger licking indeed.
All this experience in an ambience that reminds one of Old Bangalore Brick walls, Surrounded by trees, Pop music, Comfortable seating, Lot of open space and very welcoming staff. Geometry Gastro Pub has two outlets as of today one on BEL road and one on Rajajinagar. We visited the BEL Road outlet and the experience was very delightful, that the place is a saved pin on my Maps.

Our experience at The Geometry Gastropub on BEL Road was beyond disappointing. To start with, the service was abysmal. Despite arriving at 8:15 PM to a restaurant that wasn’t crowded, we waited an hour just to receive our drinks. When the first starter, Chicken Tikka, was finally served 20 minutes later, it was cold, bland, and utterly unappetizing.
We then ordered the Fish Platter, which turned out to be a complete disaster. The fish and prawns were shockingly stale and served cold. It was inedible, so we returned the dish immediately and called for the manager, Dilip. While he initially apologized and promised to personally oversee our orders, his assurances proved to be empty words.
On his recommendation, we tried two chicken starters: Pepper Chicken (which was full of bones and barely edible) and Chicken Malai Tikka (mediocre at best). Hoping for something better, we ordered the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza. What we received was a pizza overloaded with chili flakes to the point of being completely inedible. It was as if no effort or thought had gone into the preparation of the dish.
At this point, we decided not to take any further risks with the menu. It was clear that neither the manager nor the kitchen staff cared about diners’ feedback or satisfaction. We paid nearly ₹3000 for drinks and starters (excluding the Fish Platter and On Fire Pizza, which we refused to accept).
What made matters worse was the attitude of the manager. Dilip showed little to no sympathy for ruining our weekend evening and family outing. A genuine apology or even a small effort to make amends would have gone a long way, but his indifference left us frustrated and disappointed.
If you’re a food lover, The Geometry Gastropub is not the place for you. From stale food to poor service, this restaurant is a disaster. Save your money, your health, and your time—avoid this place...
Read moreI've never given 1 star or bad reviews to any place. But this place deserves it.
I had gone for the team party with my team. First of all, I really didn't want to go to this place but the team wanted to try a new place so on the basis of Zomato rating I had booked this place.
I really had a bad experience which I never ever had since the last 5 years staying in Bangalore. Absolutely pathetic place. There was a private party going on and we were not aware of it. We thought it was a dance floor and joined other people. Later one bouncer came and informed us that it's a private party. They could have placed a sign board about the private party, we would have never joined. It literally killed the vibe for us . Later, I asked my friend to click my picture, one staff came and said the other people wants to occupy this place. And, it was not even 1 minute I sat on that seat. The staff was really rude including the manager PRAVEEN.
We had to remind the staff about the order we had placed. Waited too long to get our orders. We had ordered shots and after multiple reminders one staff came and said they are short of shot glasses. This is the most funny thing I've heard. They don't have much variety of food and drinks(Veg & Mocktails). When we were about to checkout one chef had come to take the feedback about the food, if they can add anything else. I wanted to say 'If you really want to add something, add manners. How to treat people right. How to be humble. How to be polite.' But I didn't want to be rude so didn't say anything but mentioning here.
It turned out to be a really pathetic place. I would never visit this place again and would not recommend anyone to visit. On ground floor social is there. You can visit social but absolutely...
