HSR High Street, an iconic thoroughfare in the heart of the city, has earned a reputation that precedes itself, drawing both admiration and criticism in equal measure. While it has undeniable charm and hosts an array of trendy establishments, it is also frequently perceived as overpriced and overhyped.
Walking down HSR High Street, one is immediately captivated by the vibrant energy that permeates the air. The street is lined with chic cafes, stylish boutiques, and trendy restaurants, each vying for attention with their unique offerings. It is undeniably a haven for urbanites seeking a taste of the hip and the happening.
However, with the allure of its ambiance comes the realization that indulging in the experiences it offers often comes at a steep cost. Many patrons find themselves taken aback by the high price tags attached to the trendy offerings. From designer fashion to artisanal cuisine, the premium charged for the experience can leave some feeling less enchanted and more financially burdened.
Moreover, the overhyped nature of HSR High Street can sometimes lead to inflated expectations. Visitors often find themselves encountering long queues and crowded establishments, making it challenging to fully relish the touted delights. While the street promises exclusivity and luxury, it can occasionally fall short of delivering the seamless experience promised.
Nonetheless, it is essential to acknowledge that HSR High Street's appeal extends beyond its glitzy facade. The street's trendy vibe and bustling atmosphere have undoubtedly played a role in shaping it as a magnet for the urban crowd. It has become a symbol of modernity and cosmopolitan living, attracting a diverse mix of locals and tourists eager to explore its offerings.
In the end, HSR High Street embodies the double-edged sword of urban gentrification. While it has become a symbol of aspirational living, it also serves as a reminder of the growing disparity between luxury and accessibility. For some, the price may be worth the experience, while for others, it may feel out of reach or even somewhat illusory. As the city continues to evolve, HSR High Street will likely remain a complex canvas of both allure and critique, leaving visitors to weigh the cost of the hype against the allure of its...

Read moreFood - GOOD Service - BAD... really BAD Wait Time - Very very LONG
So many reviews are for good taste, but that comes at a cost of waiting for more than half an hour. Every small order, even if it is a plate of idly, takes a minimum of 20 min. There is no response from the waiter even after multiple reminders. And finally the dish comes cold. This happens with me every single time. The place runs with only 3 waiters and one manager, who serve about 20 tables and also delivery guys who line up all the time. With such good business, we expect the service to be good, if not quick. This is a big turnoff after enjoying the dishes.
There is a funny incident tonight. I ordered a cold drink which has an MRP of ₹40/-. There was no extra service like making a punch out of the cold drink; they just took the cold drink out of the freezer (which was still not cold) and put it on my table. When the bill came, I was astonished to see the price of the same cold drink as ₹50/-. When I asked about the difference, they said it was for cooling (as if the cold drinks I purchase from stores are all hot!). Moreover, GST was billed on cold drink price (pictures attached), which it self should be MRP inclusive of all taxes. When I pointed out, they were arguing that restaurant service applies GST on all products. Such good taste which such wrong practices! If someone from taxing authorities is looking at this review, please take...
