This in reference to the stay at your hotel from 20th September to 22nd September.
Me and my family had come down to Bodh Gaya for doing shradh, and we had booked down the best hotel, that is Anand International.
Anand International 4-star category was reviewed at Make My Trip. And After reviewing the views, my mother had a word with Mr. Chandan Mishra, and he also showed us a good curtsy and finally we booked the hotel. As per the category, it was showing the 4-star category, so we thought that we will be getting the service which is given in the 4-star hotel.
Very disappointingly I like to give some comments/review/experience that we had at your hotel, especially at F&B (restaurant). before that I would like to appreciate the front office staff that they had taken an appreciable care of us.
Now coming down to F&B (restaurant) we have worst service/experience which I have never seen even at the DHABA.
Below are the Few points on which I would like to shed some light: On 21st, they served dinner in broken crockery. Picture is attached in the mail which I have sent. On 21st, during evening, we all were chatting in our room and suddenly a room service staffs. entered the room, and after that he said that he entered the room by mistake. (how could it be) On 22nd, when we went to the restaurant for breakfast, they didn’t arrange a buffet, though we had included buffet breakfast. The reason they gave to us was “as there are less people present here (less than 10/15), so we had not prepared the buffet.” We also noticed that service preference was given to Foreign Guest and we were ignored and after 2-3 call someone is coming to attends us.
We didn’t expect this type of service by a 4-star hotel, we will be highlighting this issue on social media, as the whole mood during the trip was spoiled by all...
Read moreThe place is very good in ambience and setup. Mostly crowded with tourists and foreigners. One of the standard hotel in the area and located nearby to the Mahabodhi Convention Center, just opposite. Also the Mahabodhi Temple is nearby from here. The place is neatly maintained and staffs are well behaved and trained well to treat customers. Talking about the food, it is run by bright. They have variety of menus which includes veg and non veg. You get fish, chicken, mutton in non veg. There are variety of dishes from various places as to meet needs of tourists coming from different places. I have tried hyderabadi chicken from here which was good and had good quantity. Fried rice too was abundant in quantity. The garlic naan which I bought was like pappad, very hard and not upto the mark and is below average. Tandoori and Naan was also okey. The coffee served here is good. They also provide room service at a rate slightly higher for the food ordered. Buffet service is also available here. The place is very good for ocassions and conducting parties. They have auditorium too. You can conduct get-togethers, birthday parties, celebrations here and they would make the necessary arrangements for the same. Also parking facilities are also available here. Restaurant is located beneath the...
Read moreI booked this place for my wedding. After visiting more than 20+ properties in Gaya and Bodhgaya, I decided to bool this place for my wedding and trust me I am so proud of my decision. At the start I was a bit skeptical about the service but as the days passed by the service by the staff and all the arrangements relieved me from a big burden. I booked the place for events on 26, 27 and 28th November.
The service by the staff was impeccable. The food was lip smacking for all the 3 days. Few of my guests said they had the best Manchow Soup of their life. I personally liked all the food which was served.
After staying here for 4 nights, I can confidentially say that this place is good both for stay as well as hosting event.
A big thanks to the manager of the hotel Mr. Mritunjay. He was the one to look after all the demands. His customer obsession and leadership skills goes above the...
