Shyam cafe — Restaurant in Bodhgaya

Worst and over hyped. I went there with lots of expectations but came back being disappointed with everything we had. Pizza was roadside, the first time we had to put salt in a pizza. Don't even ask about cupcakes and cookies. The cupcake was bland like they used to sell on trains. Cookies were also the worst. Never try those. The only good thing was coffee. We had to pay 800 for all and it was not worth it at all. One of the most disgusting thing was that the person did not even acknowledge our complaint. Shyam café has been our go-to place over the last 2 months, because it is simply heaven.

It is a small, intimate, cozy place where you can actually rest and enjoy the BEST coffee of Bodhgaya (without a doubt). The service is amazing, the staff is friendly and the food (mostly continental) is delicious, especially their carrot cake, which is a must-take.

BEWARE: this address is not the right one, Shyam café is actually located in front of the Silver Temple, in Bodhgaya.

It's a lovely lovely place. Good to have a cup of coffee or a quick snack or dessert when your are hungry. The atmosphere and the Interior of this place is quite lovely. Good place to finish that novel you always tried to complete but quiet hadn't been able to. Plus the service guys and management is quite friendly and supportive. Lovely...
