Capital O 22733 Wood Castle — Hotel in Chhattisgarh

What i realised was this hotel is basically for functions .I booked through Agoda for 20th June 2022 and paid the amount to Agoda . When I reached the hotel at 7pm the hotel manager simply refused to provide me the room and said hotel is booked for marriage function and they don't have tie up with Agoda and the booking is unauthorized . They take bookings through oyo only . I contacted Agoda which is basically Singapore based company . International call charges required to contact them . However they responded through chat and they called me from Hong kong and said their partner in India is oyo . They contacted oyo and I got my refund at 8.30pm after lots of work . Horrible such hotel and such hotel booking app . I had to pay double charge to avail another hotel in late hours . My experience in Raipur hotel booking is several hotel booking app book hotels but most of the hotels do not have tie up with them . If one hotel accept booking of oyo it might not accept Agoda, Goibibo or make my trip and if accept make my trip then may not accept booking through oyo . So online booking for Raipur hotel is full of risk and needs confirmation from hotel before booking . My only remark about this hotel is the parking area of this hotel was uncleaned and unmaintained . Can say nothing as the hotel manager denied the booking...

So reviewing after a days stay :- Arrived at the hotel at 4 am. The check in process was a little slow but understandable as we did arrive way too early. The room alloted was relatively clean, the pillows however had spot stains on them. The air conditioning was up to mark. We had booked the room for two people but only one set of toiletries had been provided. The towels were clean. The toilets was clean but had a minor amount of water seepage destroying the clean look. Oyo did charge a early checkin in fee, the total fee came upto equivalent of two days rent. However breakfast was not provided. The check out process was swift and no nonsense.

Conclusion: while catering to large parties I think single room bookings take less priority and get the less classier rooms. But the over all experience can be classified as okayish. Would I stay again there? For the price quaoted probably not. If there is a...

Among one of the worst hotels in Raipur . Staying here can prove to be a serious health hazard . They don’t even give you a clean room during check in , a few people checked out right before us and the housekeeping staff very cleverly rearranged the bed and the blanket to make it look like the room was fresh . No it was not ! The mattress and the whole room smelled of urine ! It was absolutely pathetic . Even the pillow cases and weird yellow stains on them . The house keeping staff were not prompt to handle our complaints , they were laggard and non responsive . The bathroom is not well equipped as many faucets and showers don’t work well . Door mats were laden with dust . I don’t blame my poor experience on the workers but the seriously ineffective management who has no clue on how to run this hotel . This could be my worst hotel...
