I stayed there because it is less than 5 minutes walk from the New Delhi Railway Station from platform no.1 located just across the street. The rooms were big, I will not say that they were unclean but they certainly were not very clean. The sheets had stains on them and were very old but they changed it upon requesting. The hot water was O.K. and I slept fine. Did a bit of bargaining and paid 1300 rupees for the night and made sure that tax was included in the price. Next day the new receptionist asked more money but didn't insist after I told him of the deal the previous day, but again didn't give the receipt either.||They asked 550 rupees to the airport but I walked 50 meters to the pre paid taxi stand at New Delhi railway station and paid 250 rupees||It is just like anyother hotel of that range in Paharganj area. Fairly average class. Majority of the hotels in Paharganj are of the same type. Certainly not a family hotel, nor a business hotel or a hotel for a romantic stay. It is fairly manageble and O.K if you are a passing traveller and needs to catch a train from the New Delhi railway station. I can not say that I enjoyed staying at this hotel but it also...
Read moreThe location is nice but there are other hotels better than this one. They will not tell you that air conditioner is not working and so is hot water in the bathroom. The rooms smell. Dead insects all over the room floor. The flooring tiles are cracked. There are stains on the furnitures thats dated. The TV installed is crooked. Room did not have windows. No remote or switch to switch AC on/off. BEST PART IS THE AIR CONDITIONER DRAIN PIPE IS INSIDE THE ROOM WITH A BUCKET TO COLLECT WATER! After we called the reception to complain that there was no hot water they said that someone will come to check. Promptly a boy came with a immersion heater and told us that the water heating system is not working. A 16 amp socket inside the bathroom reveals that this is how water heating is done. You will have to fill the 20 liter bucket from the shower area lift it and bring it to the wash basin then take it back to the shower area. Limit your bath to one bucket is an eco-friendly initiative. One star for providing the immersion heater. Dishonesty is the moto. No matter what they need your money. Do visit if you want to feel...

From outside it was looking great like a star rating property and it was close to the railway station as well. But after booking we came to know that this hotelliar had cheated us. The room was under renovation And when we asked the manager to give the money back he refused and told you have already booked now dont worry we are working on it ....TV and beds would be given soon....and we were given the keys of such a room. There were no beds no TV we were surprised. After complaining 6hrs passed a Lcd was installed and beds were given. That was not the thing to end with. When we were to check out the hotelliar began to ask about service charges even we were not taking the bill and all...We complained that we not given any good service and service charges for what??
