I recently stayed at Hotel Hari Piorko Inn in Paharganj, New Delhi, on 17-08-23 to 18-08-23 for a single day, and my stay was nothing short of a disappointment. The hotel's claims were far from reality, and I believe it's crucial to share my experience with others to prevent similar let downs.
🏨 Unmet Expectations: The room I was allocated, even though labeled as a Club Room Category, was shockingly small. The hotel failed to deliver on their promises, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction from the very beginning.
🧽 Hygiene and Insects: Cleanliness was a major issue during my stay. The presence of insects in the room was not only unhygienic but also uncomfortable. It's unacceptable to encounter such issues in a supposedly reputable establishment.
📺 TV Troubles: To make matters worse, the TV in the room never worked. After multiple attempts, the staff removed it for repairs, robbing me of the entertainment I had hoped for during my stay.
🛏️ Dismal Room Condition: The overall condition of the room was shabby, adding to the already unpleasant experience. It's disheartening to encounter such lackluster accommodations, especially when paying for an upgraded category.
🛀 Poor-Quality Amenities: The towels provided were of extremely poor quality, failing to meet even the most basic standards of comfort and cleanliness. It's disappointing to be met with such subpar amenities.
🔌 Electrical Outlets Issue: Among the four charging plugs provided, only one was functional. This was an inconvenience that affected my ability to use and charge my devices efficiently.
🌟 Bright Spot: The only positive aspect of my stay was the staff's service. They were attentive and helpful, but unfortunately, their efforts couldn't salvage the overall disappointing experience.
🚫 In Conclusion: In summary, my stay at Hotel Hari Piorko Inn was far from satisfactory. With a cramped room, cleanliness issues, malfunctioning amenities, and subpar conditions, I cannot recommend this hotel to others. While the staff's service was commendable, it couldn't offset the multiple drawbacks that...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel, and while it was an okay experience, there were several areas that need improvement.
The location of the hotel is convenient. Staff were generally polite and helpful.
The check-in formalities were overly complicated. Despite providing a valid ID with an old but recognizable photo, the hotel insisted on multiple forms of identification and unnecessary phone number verifications via call, which felt excessive and inconvenient. The check-in process was overall cumbersome and slow.
The keycard was also a hit or miss, often stopping working for no reason and needing to be taken back to the reception to be activated again.
The air conditioning in the room was very old and malfunctioned frequently. The remote control was unreliable, working only half the time, which made adjusting the temperature difficult.
The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, disconnecting frequently on all my devices. This was quite frustrating, especially when trying to work or browse the internet.
The room’s hygiene was mediocre. The bed, linen, and mattress seemed old and not well-maintained. There were visible signs of wear and tear, and they did not seem properly cleaned or replaced when damaged.
There was no option to switch the hot or cold water, and it seemed like the hotel had control over the hot water with certain timings. We checked multiple times throughout the day, and often hot water did not come in the shower. The bathroom was also a bit too small and not convenient to use.
The building itself felt outdated and in need of significant renovation and maintenance.
Overall, the hotel was just okay for a short stay, but there are better options available in the same price range that offer a more comfortable and up-to-date experience. I would recommend looking for other hotels if you're seeking a more seamless and...
