John Cooke is my name and from Ireland I have been travalling to India for 20yrs. Pahargang is an aera we often stay at as it has a direct metro route from the airport in Delhi and also the main Delhi Train station to other destinations.
Whilst visiting with a German Freind we discovered THE EXOTIC ROOF TOP CAFE where we were served beautiful wholesome food from their kitchens.
Interestly this Cafe is ran by a family from Nepal 🇳🇵 ❤ 💖 who have a very pleasant and kind nature and give you a very friendly experience whilst you dine on their wholesome 😀 😊 and nourishing food be it a breakfast, lunch or dinner in the evening.
The Cafe is three floors up on a busy junction where you can also enjoy the hassle and bustle of the Pahargang Streets below. The young lady from Nepal 🇳🇵 😍 who owns and runs this Cafe is a very pleasant host and has lots of local knowledge about this aera as her business is now running for 20yrs.
My German Freind Hermann and I would highly recommend you to stop off and relax over good wholesome food at this Cafe.
They have a good wide choice of foods on their menu at very very reasonable rates.
Thank you...

Searching for the elusive #Openhand #coffeeshop ☕️in #Paharganj , which neither the local people nor #google knew about, we were famished after running around in circles!
We decided to give up the chase and settle for a meal in a typical Paharganj restaurant called Exotic Rooftop cafe . There was nothing exotic about going up two flights of narrow staircases to this small place divided into two floors.
To give credit, it seemed popular with #firang backpackers and locals and the place was clean if I could ignore the cigarette smoke 💨 Thankfully it was a veranda kind of setup up so I managed.
We ordered a #shakshouka and #chickenmomos with some soft drinks🥤 The food was prepared fresh and took almost 20-30 mins to arrive but it was good. Nothing fancy but good enough to fill your stomach and taste good.
My bill came to Rs 580/-
As they say - All is well that ends well ( or in a burp...
Read moreThis is a really cool place, as far as the ambience in concerned. You take the climb up the foot-high stairs in your stride, and you'll find a gratifying escape from the hue and cry of Paharganj. The feel is nice, and if you look around, you'll find everybody chilling in their own accord. The place attracts a lot of foreign and local hipster crowd. Apart from that, the food is nice, there's a lot of variety, the price seems to be standard across all of Paharganj cafés, which is an average 500 rupees for two. Just know that they'll take at least half an hour to bring in whatever you order, especially in rush hours. Confirm it before you order. So basically, it isn't the place to go in and grab some quick munchies. You go here to soak in the feels, and chill for hours on end, maybe have a great...
