Cheated and Exploited – A Shameful Scam That Destroys Trust

I am writing this review in utter frustration and disappointment. My experience at this hotel was nothing short of a scam, and I feel cheated, helpless, and angry.

Before check-in, I enquired about the room tariff and was clearly informed that it would be INR 3,200 per night including breakfast. This rate was again confirmed at check-in by one of the hotel staff members.

However, during checkout, a completely different person showed up — someone who was never present during my enquiry or check-in — and demanded INR 4,000 per night, completely denying the previous discussion. I tried to explain, but he rudely dismissed it and insisted I pay the higher amount.

To make matters worse, when I pointed out the earlier confirmation, I was told that the staff member who confirmed the rate was “just a room boy” and was not authorized to speak about pricing. This is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. If your employee confirms something at the front desk, you as a hotel are fully accountable. Passing the blame onto a junior employee shows a shocking lack of professionalism and ethics.

If this was an individual act by that checkout staff, then I urge the hotel management to take immediate action. Such behavior is not only fraudulent but also damaging to your hotel's reputation. If the management is aware of this scam and still allows it to happen, then it speaks volumes about your values.

I was forced to pay more than I agreed to, with no resolution or proper explanation. The trust was broken, and the entire experience left me feeling cheated, humiliated, and robbed.

To all future guests: Be very careful. Do not trust verbal commitments at this hotel. Get everything in writing or better yet, avoid this...

Except location, nothing was good in the hotel. The only best part is that its near yo metro station.

Room were full of smell and when I entered the bathroom in the room I found used ladies sanitary pad near commode and bathrom was very dirty also there were no geyser.

I got a room on 4th floor near the kitchen and almost all the house keeping staff used to sit near kitchen and making noise.

Bedsheets and pillow cover was used and dirty its like they didn't washed since long

Food was way costly (I did not order food) so I dont know the taste.

I ordered tea and the uncle kind of service guy directly came into my room every time wherever I asked for tea. He should respect my privacy and should not enter the room.

Landline extension phone was not working and third day of my stay he took one guy into my room and ruin my almost 1 30hours. They were repairing the phone line. I insisted him to do it later upon my checkout but he didn't listen to me at all.

I am very upset with the service provided. Even though we reserved in advance and paid upfront, we did not receive the rooms as promised. They were sending us to a different low standard hotel. This led to inconvenience, emotional turmoil, and cost us 2-3 valuable hours. There were 17 of us in total, comprising 10 women and two children, and all of us felt equally frightened and upset due to the mismanagement. The delay threw our entire schedule off track, preventing us from having lunch on time, which made everyone, particularly the kids, feel uncomfortable and frustrated. The unprofessionalism and poor coordination of the staff were shocking. Given that this venue promises top-notch service, my experience fell far short of expectations.
