Prabhat Beach Resort — Hotel in Diu

There are only a few hotels/resorts near Nagoa beach and this is one of the budget friendly ones. Would advice to take this if you are under budget constraints and still want a place near to the beach. ||||The hotel is just minutes walk away from the beach and just to clarify there are no 'beach resorts' in Diu in the sense that none of them are on the beach. So from that perspective there is not anything to chose from. ||So, this hotel does provide value for money in that sense, but that service standards were very low specially from the reception staff. Firstly, multiple random guys ( not hotel staff) were sitting at the reception just playing games and had no idea of anything whatsoever. ||The biggest issue that we faced was that wi-fi not working for 3 days. I had Airtel sim which just does not work in Gujarat, so it was a lot of trouble to even look at the maps.The cleanliness outside the room was also a concern with a pile of clothes just lying in front of our room for 2 days. Basically, nobody was bothered with any sort of hospitality. ||||On the other hand, the restaurant staff were courteous and welcoming. They accommodated all our requests, served us well every time and acted professionally. The food is good here with long list of menu options and everything available. We saw lot of local people come and eat here as well as take home delivery, which kind of gave assurance that the food is freshly prepared. Although the ambiance of the dining room can be vastly improved.||||The room was decent size with large bathroom, air conditioner worked fine.||Overall, a decent play to stay near the beach and the scope for improvement is immense if they take...

The hotel's location is highly advantageous, as it is conveniently close to the beach, allowing guests to easily access the waterfront and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. The swimming pool is a notable highlight, offering a refreshing and enjoyable space for guests to relax and unwind.||However, there are certain areas that require improvement. The food options at the hotel have not been sampled due to the mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, which may not cater to individual preferences. The air conditioning system in the rooms is not functioning properly, leading to discomfort for guests, particularly during warm weather. Additionally, when the AC is switched off, the floors tend to become wet, which can be inconvenient and pose a safety hazard.||Moreover, the provision of drinking water in a jug and the utilization of low-quality soap and shampoo diminish the overall guest experience. The absence of a brushing kit further detracts from the hotel's amenities. Lastly, the water pressure in the bathroom is insufficient, making it challenging to enjoy a satisfying...

Prabhat beach resort is located within 200 metres of Nagoa beach, right behind the kostambar beach resort. That's the only good part of Prabhat beach resort.

The rooms here are unhygienic, small, smelly and not at all comfortable. We were not offered bathroom towels or any toiletries during check-in when in fact we checked in late and they were well aware of that. The bathrooms were horrible. The bathroom water drainage was choked and the jet spray was not working. Upon request for room change the staff straight on denied to do so even though they had other empty rooms. They had the audacity to tell us that every room usually has some or the other issues and you have to accommodate it. I would suggest not to stay here at all for whatever reason. Not that they charge less for their room. They charged 4k for one night of a horrible experience. I also ask other guests who stayed there and felt cheated to come forward and write about their experience.

Overall, Diu is a good place but please be aware while selecting hotels as many hotels run such rackets of bad hospitality....
