Sandalwood Hotel & Retreat — Hotel in Goa Island

Sandalwood Hotel & Resort is the worst property I've stayed so far. Hotel took extra booking and we had a group booking with single occupancy and paid in advance too. But the hotel staff said that they can't give us room and asked that since we are group, we should share the rooms, despite we paying with single room. They promised to give room next day, which didn't come till we did the check-out.

The challenge doesn't stop here - they do not provide any toiletries, we need to ask them for each small small thing. Room, sofa and chair were dirty with lots of spots on it. Room was smelling.

Breakfast was tasteless and when we complained about the quality and taste, the chef said that you don't like it but others have not complained. He can't do much. On complaining to reception, next day he behaved well with me, but said not to update my group as he will have to make custom order for others. Third day, he even made face that don't come to me. We stayed at this hotel from 10/11/2023 to 16/11/2023. Every day the breakfast and Dinner menu was different. Food quality was very good.
