BLD — Restaurant in Goa

We’ve been visiting Taj Cidade in Donapaula regularly from past 2 years now, and every time we’re amazed by the experience. The food, the ambience, and the service have always been top-notch.

During our recent visit to BLD on 07/06/25, we ordered several dishes. Unfortunately, the paneer steak was a major letdown. It lacked the typical dairy texture and flavor we remembered from our previous visits—especially compared to the delicious version we had back in January. We sincerely hope it wasn’t made with analogue paneer, which the Chef later confirmed it wasn't. That said, we appreciated the chef’s acknowledgment and apology.

What truly salvaged the experience was the outstanding service by our waiter, Mr. Hemchand. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel incredibly special. Thank you for ensuring our evening ended on a high note.

Looking forward to many more visits—just hoping for the return of that wonderful paneer dish we...

Vivanta by Taj, Dona Paula, is truly one of the best 5-star properties in Goa. The location offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the sea and greenery, making every visit feel refreshing and peaceful.

It’s just a 30-minute drive from my house, which makes it even more special for me. The à la carte experience is outstanding – the food is always fresh, delicious, and served with perfection. Since I know many of the staff personally, the warm hospitality makes me feel like I’m at my very own property.

The entire place exudes luxury and comfort, from the well-designed rooms to the serene surroundings. Every time I visit (which is quite often), it feels like a perfect blend of home-like warmth and world-class elegance.
