FERNANDES Guest House — Hotel in Goa

We were a family of eight who decided to stay at this property a few days ago. We chose this property after due diligence which included several favourable reviews on Tripadvisor itself. Our overall experience was quite a forgettable one though. ||||To begin with the staff which was employed there was totally discourteous and insensitive. From the time we checked in they seemed interested only in us making the full payment (we paid half the total tariff for booking). As if that was inadequate we were served with fungus laden bread for breakfast. When this as brought to the notice of the caretaker forget apologizing she refused to even accept it first. ||||No buckets in any of the bathrooms, there are TVs in rooms but the set-top-box had ran out subscription which means you could not watch anything, bathrooms were unclean, lamps were without bulbs and there was no ceiling fan in any of the rooms. No water jugs or extra bed sheets or pillow in rooms. Though we paid for the entire bungalow many portions remained inaccessible as they were locked out. ||||The most irritating part was the tone that the staff which was very harsh and uncivil throughout our stay of 2 nights and 3 days. They even warned us against washing clothes in the room! Breakfast was served strictly between 8.30-9.30 and with a fixed menu (bread, jam and butter with tea)||||Air condition was louder than a washing machine but failed to cool the room adequately despite being put at the coolest level! ||||The only good part about the property is its location and size.||||There are definitely better options worth...

This is so so good guest house, not for new couple. Accept payment by cash and upi. Room for 4 people and with geaser and ac. Not recommending to picture clicking guys. Beach is just 2 minute...

Very worst stay... Not at all good service... Manipulation for rates ... communication of staff and owner is very worst... Would recommend everyone not to stay here at all... NEVER NEVER...
