Planet Goa Beach Cottages — Hotel in Goa

there are 2 reviews before me, and what ever they wrote is correct . Now I want to say something different . This place is not for couple, family or any body looking to enjoy there hotel stay in Goa. This place is very near by to beach, and you can walk from the back side , and enjoy beach. I am not sure by this time who owns this, but during my time I got a helpful fellow , and the guy was very good to us. Why I am writing this review , is because there are lot of students , and working professionals always seeking beach side hotel at lower price , want to go there only for sat and sun day, and come back , this could be good place for them . Now how to get a good room - don't book this online, go there and ask for room, bargain , when you get a room take the care taker with you , check the bath room first , check the ac and tv and make sure what ever you want he gets it for you . This could be very nice place if you can manage it . Don't order food from the menu card, that is ........ Go out side you get a lots of stall serving you local non-veg food . Trust me , those are good . And I saw mainly south indians were stay here , so for my south indian brother you can give it a try, remember always go there in group , this place is not that bad if you can arrange your things ... Location...

Good to stay ..... Resort food quality and taste it's very good compare to outside hotel food its cheaper I like their prawn masala....staff and hotel owner friendly but don't ask about bike, island trip , ride because we asked one of resort staff about island trip he suggest me 1700 rupee/ person and he told don't skip island its very nice unlimited foods and drinks finally we request to reduce the price after that for our resort their final price 1400rupee/ person. We went island its not worth nothing to see we waste the money and one day full.. In our boat other peoples also came they told we paid only 900 rupee/person. That resort person cheated us and we request bike also resort people called one bike person he charged 1200 rupee/ bike we feel it's costly then we went outside and ask other shop they told 800 rupee/ bike. We told about resort person they are charging 1200 rupee why . then bike shop person told 300 rupee commission for refer person so don't ask then any extra details in resort people use resort available service food, pool ,dj , etc .... Its good...food, stay, pool , service , location its...

Those who gave 5 stars, this hotel does not deserve even one. its an ordinary hotel with limited amenities, the only advantage is its proximity to calangute beach otherwise this hotel is just for stay (if you pay around 1500-2000 per day) but hotel fools you to pay 2800 to 3500 rs (in summer season) don't know why they demand 5000+ in peak season, i have paid for for low voltage a/c, or 2 when light goes off, they dont have backup generator, 3 the pool which never is clean or filtered for impurities. the food quality is ok (but not as per good hotel standards) Room size is fair, but have lots of ants/cleanliness is poor. Hotel owner (lady) is too rude to talk, staff is ok but need multiple calls for response when you order something.

Overall, not a satisfying experience of stay in this hotel, if you pay something like 1200-1500 for any other hotel with no swimming pool nearby, you may still be satisfied but not in this...
