I recently had the pleasure of staying at Five Five Beach Resort and absolutely loved it. First off, the resort's name comes from the fact they only have five huts for guest accommodations so it has a very intimate and exclusive feel the moment you arrive. The hosts and staff were a delight to interact with, perhaps it's from the beautiful beach setting, but everyone is consistently in an upbeat and relaxed mood. So many great things to share about Five Five but let me give you the highlights. First, their head chef and support staff make excellent meals and great service to boot. There's a cooler full of beer, a full bar and the menu has a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sizzling platters are a must-try and interestingly enough, they make some great Italian pasta dishes; their Chicken Alfredo is quite good. The location is great because it's at the opposite end of where all the nightclub and partying goes on so it's nice and peaceful however if you're looking for the active nightlife, the action is simply walking distance away. The huts are quite spacious and beds are huge. What's really cool is all the framework is made from organic materials like tree branches and straw rope so you really get the feel of staying in a hut. The awning for the main dining area is the same. Lastly, the prices were all very reasonable and worth every bit of it. When I return to Goa, this is exactly where i...
Read moreI stayed in five five tents b/w 23 Dec to 26 Dec.This place is awesome, peaceful and extremely wonderful. Hospitality of the entire staff made my trip a memorable one. I am really touched by the care that my family received during our stay. Especially on the day of our checkout, Ulhas, Marney and the entire staff did their best to make our checkout as smooth as possible since my son was not feeling well and we had to travel back to pune by road. It was clearly evident that they were equally concerned about the health of my son. They also helped me reach the doctor. One of their staff members went out of her way and fed my son with warm water with honey so that he feels warm and gets relief from cough. Thanks guys for all your help and hospotality. I will definitely visit...
Read moreThis is the worst restaurant I have ever experienced in Goa. I often visit Goa and it’s more than 100 times now and the person called Karim as been told by other staff is very arrogant when questioned on the quantity n quality of food. He is more interested to serve foreigners than Indians claiming that they bill more and questioned if we are billing more than 20k for food only. On the other side he was like do Wat ever you want to. Money is not important here the service and the way to approach customer is imp. By this incident the experience was bad. I would strongly urge to go other restaurants. Not all are same as karims Five-Five...
