Zero stars... Very horrible hotel.. No professionalism... It is very surprising that this hotel is 3 Star. Everything from the lift to the room was smelly. There were spider webs, mosquitos and ants in the rooms, the bathroom door handle was so dirty it had never been cleaned, the linens were dirty and looked as if it had not been changed since the previous guest checked out. The bathroom mat was so dirty that when asked to replace it, it was surprising that they provided another dirty mat which was then replaced. The electric kettle was so dirty that you couldn't even see it. Even after complaining it was never changed. They only spray some air fresheners... The smell of the washroom was unbearable, even air fresheners can't remove the foul smell. No professionalism at all, cleanliness is definitely not a word they know. We have to pinpoint each item to be cleaned in the “clean” room. The housekeeping staff seemed as if they had been hired without training. Even after explaining everything, things were not being done properly. On top of that, their reaction was as if we were doing a very wrong thing by expecting cleanliness. The fridge was not working and when they moved the fridge to clean out the ants, there was a pile of garbage. When we asked to change the room they refused saying no other room was available and when we checked with the housekeeping person said there were many vacant rooms. The AC was making a lot of noise... The fan was running at its slowest speed. The Mortien machine was very dirty and it even caused a short circuit. They have the smallest beds that can't even accommodate 2 people and are impossible to sleep on if you have a child with you. They don't have beds bigger than this.. Breakfast was very unhygienic and bad.. The sugar was in a bowl which was dirty. Breads were kept in the open. Plates, cups, nothing was cleaned properly. The breakfast area was having cat poop. The pool was as if it had never been cleaned. Extremely disappointing. Total waste of money. And definitely a trip spoiler. I would never suggest anyone visiting Colva to stay at this hotel at this particular price range. Definitely look for other options. @MakemyTrip and @Goibibo, I request you to please do a sanity check before listing it as a 3 star hotel, which it definitely is not.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Colva Kinara in Goa and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The rooms at Hotel Colva Kinara are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room had a balcony overlooking the stunning views of the surrounding area. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of both local and international cuisines to choose from. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and always ready to accommodate any special requests. Another great feature of Hotel Colva Kinara is its location. It is just a short walking distance from the famous Colva Beach, which is known for its pristine white sand and turquoise waters. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to the beach, which was very convenient. The hotel also boasts a pool and a fitness center, both of which I took advantage of during my stay. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, and the fitness center had all the equipment I needed for a good workout. Overall, my experience at Hotel Colva Kinara was fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Goa.

We had booked 2 rooms form #makemytrip in this so called 3 star hotel but we were taken aback as soon as we entered the hotel. This is more of a lodge/student’s pg than a hotel. The condition of the room is pathetic with smelly ambience. The we used to avoid taking lift as it was smelly and dirty. The room’s curtains, mats, cushions are so dirty that if ur any body part gets touched u feel like taking a bath. The size of the bed is too small to accommodate even 2 people properly and if u have a toddler/baby with u then forget about sleeping. The fridge of the room was not working. Kettle provided was broken and dirty. The breakfast they provide was pathetic and was served in dirty plates. The pool is just for namesake filled with rain water. Staff is good for nothing. No help/assistance provided when we talked for upgrading the room with bigger bed size. Overall disgusted with the stay. Will suggest @makemytrip to depanel this hotel from their list.

My recent stay at Colva Kinara in Goa was a major disappointment and fell far short of the expectations set by the seemingly high star rating (4.3) on Google reviews. From the very beginning, it was clear that the hotel was not up to par in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately greeted with an unpleasant smell of dirt and decay. The foul odor was strongly felt and persisted in the lift and even seeped into the room I was assigned. The room had a musty and stale smell, as if it had not been used or properly cleaned in a long time. The condition of the room did not align with the standards one would expect from a highly-rated and pricy establishment. The problems did not stop there. The toilet flush in the room was not functioning properly. When I called the reception to report the issue, the staff member who attended to the complaint suggested a crude and unhygienic solution – using a bucket of water to flush the toilet. This was not only unacceptable but also a clear indication of the lack of concern for guests' comfort and basic amenities. Given the unhygienic conditions, they asked as to change the room. Unfortunately, the subsequent rooms provided were equally disappointing. One room had an improperly set up bed( steel foldable bed), which was uncomfortable and not suitable for a good night's sleep. The other room had visible electrical wires were hanging dangerously, as the switch board was damaged posing a serious risk, especially for “families with small children” like mine. After fourth room change, I was relocated to the third floor, hoping for an improvement. However, my hopes were dashed as the Wi-Fi in the room was not functional, and the air conditioner was faulty, leaving me discomforted throughout the night. To make matters worse, the walls in this room were affected by fungus and moisture, indicating a severe lack of proper maintenance and upkeep. I had specifically requested for a room spray to help combat the unpleasant odors in the room, but unfortunately, no one from the hotel staff came forward to address this request. Additionally, I faced problems with the Wi-Fi, which remained unresolved throughout my stay.

Throughout my ordeal, I attempted to bring these issues to the attention of the hotel staff, hoping for a resolution. However, the response from the front office person (may be the owner) was deeply unsatisfactory. He seemed disinterested and provided nothing more than a half-hearted apology. Instead of taking genuine action to address the problems, he mentioned penalizing the staff member who suggested using a bucket of water in the toilet, which only further highlighted the lack of accountability and desire to deflect responsibility. Even the dining experience at Colva Kinara was lackluster. The food quality was subpar, with tasteless South Indian and North Indian dishes that were hard to consume. The only tolerable aspect was the bread and bread toast with butter and jam.

One of the most concerning aspects of my stay was the realization that the 4.3 star rating on Google reviews might not be genuine. It became apparent that the hotel may have fabricated positive reviews or received them from their own personnel or acquaintances, misleading potential guests and creating unrealistic expectations.

To anyone responding to this review, I kindly request you not to express SURPRISE or DISBELIEF regarding the negative feedback provided. You know very well that the experiences shared here are genuine and reflect the disappointing aspects of the stay at Colva Kinara in Goa. Instead, I encourage you to acknowledge the concerns raised and address them. In conclusion, my stay at Colva Kinara was far from enjoyable and left me with a lingering sense of disappointment. The hotel's condition, service quality, and lack of responsiveness to customer issues were far from satisfactory. I strongly caution future travelers against relying solely on star ratings and online reviews when considering...

My review is based on the rooms, food and proximity to the beach.. visited in the 2nd week of Oct 2021. On the rooms and other facilities probably I would rate it as 3.5 except for the occasional visits by big cockroaches, house keeping not upto the mark.. like mixing shower gel with shampoo in front of me.. getting the room ready with all amenities in place... To my shock once checked in found there was no showergel and cud get it only next morning after yelling.. wanted some additional water bottles, dint get it at all. Since it's a beach resort, insist on a room with balcony for drying wet clothes.. had a hell of a time with wet clothes being dried in an AC room. Room has an additional bed for a third occupant. This is a plus. Restaurant and food.. I regret to say this was the most disappointed area and frankly I was so put off by the breakfast alone that I decided not to have food here. In no way this is anywhere close to a rating of 1. The restaurant management was probably so poor that given an option I would prefer being hungry rather than eating here. I have observed the breakfast for 3 days.. options I would rate as 2, quality as 2, availability, waiting and courtesy by staff as 1. Imagine for a buffet breakfast you had to wait for a decent 15 minutes for them to refill and people would pounce on it, else will have to wait for another 15 minutes for a refill... Mind you this is the story on all 3 days that I had breakfast. Options are so limited (as good as no option) that everybody would want a bread toast.. one toaster for about 20 people.. now imagine the wait time for this as well.. On the positive side, ample parking, good decorum, clean bedsheets and towels. Therefore I rate the decorum as 5. Check-in at 12 noon but checkout at 10 AM. Be wary of this, it's not 24 hours that you get. Proximity to the beach, friendly front office desk..I would rate it as 4 as there are many such options available on the same stretch. That's the only thing I guess, keeps this place going. Though there is a swimming pool in the adjacent property, I haven't utilised that service. Overall consider this as a lovely place to stay with family, but for sure give the restaurant a miss if possible. Hope my candid feedback helps the management to look at weak areas and travellers to choose what is of prime...
