MINI DUNES — Hotel in Goa

CONS: The staff is rude

I requested cleaning once in 3 days, but they do only once in 5 days

No bathroom accessories like cleaning, wiping clothes, toothbrush, small toothpaste etc.

No kitchen accessories like cleaning bars, scrubs, mopping clothes etc.

When I asked about Gas Cylinder refill, they were asking me to refill on my own money. It's weird to ask guests to refill the gas cylinder when I am living there on daily rental basis.

First they asked to refill water from the reception. Later when I spoke angrily, they started giving a 10 L water bottle in the room. Later they asked me to 10 L carry on my own to the 2nd floor, inspite of the hotel staff being there to help me. And later they stopped giving water and asking to buy on my own from outside shop. It's so unprofessional to ask guests or clients to lift water or anything extra to the 2nd floor.

The reception guy kept on telling me I told you earlier this and that, which he never told us actually. He is a totally confused guy.

PROS: Proximity to beach, supermarkets, clothes and vegetables. Ample parking...

Mini Dunes is just 5 mins walkable distance from Dunes Holiday Village & Mandrem beach. These really affordable budget rooms with all basic necessities included like split AC, 24hrs Hot water, Fridge, Microwave & Cloth Iron. They also have rooms with attached kitchen, so one can cook their own food. Car & Bike parking is also available inside the premises. James is a very good host. Good Value for Money.

James and Anita have taken good care of us and our kids. Hotel is neat included with refrigerator, oven, iron box in best cost at peak season time. We even got complimentary tea and milk for kids.
