Novotel Goa Resort & Spa — Hotel in Goa

I would definetly share my dining experience at the square for my buffet on the 23rd June dinner time , to my surprise I was shocked with the limited menu offered at buffet , far surprising was the service at the restaurant, it seem the hotel was definitely short staffed , no one to check on the guest of how is the food even the floor sous chef was not aware when asked if the food served is cold he seemed to be more surprised, I was really shocked with the food quality and the way it was just served the staff was not concerned with guest dining , I did speak to the chef personally on duty the chef was chef savio , you guys really need to look into what you guys are serving , the soup was tasteless , the desserts were horrible , the main course was horrible and had more water and served stale I totally believe the food were leftovers from the morning buffet without any doubt , the handmade breads were hard , the cafreal tasted horrible , the penne arabita pasta was water , what shocked me even more is this kind of food can actually be served at Novotel Candolim considered to be one of the prime locations in Goa , a complete disappointment as guest who really look forward for good food and service at such high profile hotels , hope you up your ante with your standards for food quality and better service . It was a wonderful experience to stay at Novotel Goa Resort and Spa. ||They know much better how to handle their guests. It was a very warm welcome. ||We booked the Elegant suite, and it was amazing. It is on the third floor, and the suite has one floor. There are two televisions for each room and two balconies with a proper seating area. Two washrooms also there so for the family it was very good. ||Rooms were very clean, Support staff is also almost ready to help with your needs. ||Good size of swimming pool, and best part, even in the afternoon, you can swim because it is underneath of tree. The View from the swimming pool is great. ||In a swimming pool, there is one best part is the jacuzzi, You can enjoy the feel of it. ||Now comes to the food, It is delicious with very good of variety. We enjoyed it a lot.||We have rented a car and they have taken care of that as well. They have a very good parking place. I HAD BOOKED THIS HOTEL FROM 15 JUNE 2025 TO 18 JUNE 2025 FOR MY FAMILY OF FOUR. DUE TO FLIGHT CANCELLATION ON 15-6-25 I REACHED ON NEXT DAY 16-6-25. MY RELATIVES ALREADY REACHED ON 15-6-25. ON 17-6-25 WE WENT OUT FOR DAY TOUR AT 11.15 AM AND RETURNED BACK AT ABOUT 8.00 PM. WHEN WE RETURNED MY ROOM WAS CLEANED , WE CHECKED OUR BAGS AND CASH WAS MISSING FROM MY LUGGAGE. ON COMPLAINING TO RECEPTION THE CALLED SECURITY INCHARGE TO INVESTIGATE. ON CHECKING CCTV FOOTAGE IT SHOWS ONLY HOUSEKEEPING HAD COME GONE INTO THE ROOM (one of whom was trainee.). THEY CALLED THEM AT 9PM BUT THEY CAME AT 12PM.
