Food Exchange — Restaurant in Goa

Tried the buffet at this place after seeing it was rated 4.8 on google, when we ask the hostess, what kind of cuisine, she informed it was Indian, Goan, oriental. She informed you could opt for the buffet or a la carte, we opted for the buffet, however 70% of the dishes were veg, barely 3 non veg items, which included 1 nv starter, no goan food. This quality not on par to what was served at other Novotel hotels, even deserts were not on mark & not topped up, when restaurant was barely full. .However, when I spoke to the hostess & restaurant manager, they will inform the chef. However my request if they could add another non-veg from the a la carte was declined. I would not...

During our recent stay at Novotel we twice had meals at Food Exchange (besides the buffet). Our overall experience was great. Food was well prepared. We loved the chicken xacuti, and chicken cafreal. Children enjoyed their pizzas and spaghetti napolitano. It’s a clean and spacious restaurant (being a part of Novotel hotel) on lower ground floor. We stayed at novotel for 4 nights and i must say the restaurnt had superb food and service. The staff is extremely sweet, ever smiling and polite. Very courteous and supportive with my little one's food. My 4 days in Goa were smooth just because they managed his food very well. Cant be more grateful.
