This was my 'local' for breakfast for about 11 days. My accommodation didn't offer meals, so being a 30 seconds walk away...The Octopus was the obvious choice.
The staff here are excellent and always welcoming. Unfortunately I lost the paper which I'd noted their names...so can't name them. But there is one older guy, who deserves a mention. He is the one who takes most of the breakfast orders...he's a truly lovely guy who goes out of his way to help you.
The food here is good and reasonably priced. Beers too are fairly priced, local spirits are very cheap.
The only downside is that their WiFi isn't available at all times, but Rajesh, the young owner, will allow you to use his mobile as a WiFi hotspot.

The behaviour of the guy at the registration place was worst and changing the prices for 15- 20 minutes he was using our need in wrongly and due our need we unwillingly took the room. I don’t know how there room timing are calculated. wherever I checked in different places we used to get 24 hours but this hotel we checked in at 11PM and asked us to check out by 10AM next morning.
Totally I’m very disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend this...
