Avoid This Hotel at All Costs – Worst Experience Ever

We recently stayed at Ronz Vista Da Praia near Calangute, Goa, and it was by far the worst and dirtiest hotel experience of our lives. Families, especially those with kids, please avoid this place.

From the moment we entered, there was a foul smell all over the hotel. The beds were dirty, and the room had not been cleaned before our arrival – used alcohol bottles were still lying around, the fridge was filthy, and even the TV remote was broken.

The worst and most unhygienic thing we saw was their cleaning process: they washed dirty mop cloths in the same bucket given to us for bathing. This is not only disgusting but highly unhygienic. How can anyone bathe in that? It’s shocking that a hotel could have no basic hygiene standards.

The AC barely worked, and there was no fresh air or ventilation, just a constant foul smell. When it rained, the wet mat was not replaced, and they didn’t even provide a dry one. The staff was extremely rude, irresponsible, and had no sense of hospitality. It was clear that they were not even bothered about guest comfort.

Despite our disappointment, we tried to remain calm and only requested a partial refund since we chose to vacate early due to these horrible conditions. But not only did they refuse, the owner threatened us instead of owning up to his hotel’s miserable state. Even when we mentioned our child was running a high fever, they showed zero humanity.

This hotel should not even be allowed to operate. I suspect all the positive reviews are either fake or from their own circle because nothing here deserves even a single star.

This is not about expecting luxury at a budget price – it's about basic cleanliness, hygiene, and decency, all of which were completely missing. We didn’t ask for much, just minimum livable conditions, which they failed to provide.

Final word: This is not a hotel for families – it’s more like a shady red-light area with a bar atmosphere. Don’t be fooled by any misleading photos or reviews.

Good - 1. Room Interior is same as shown in review images. 2. Parking is also available as said. 3. Calangute is at walking Distance as said. Bad - 1. Location is little bit inside. You have to struggle small narrow pathways to reach hotel. 2. No Cleaning at all very dirty. 3. AC Room is just a myth because when you will turn it ON, it just starts draining water and all over floor will get wet! I called the caretaker for the same then he said "DON'T TURN ON AC" same thing happened with all other guests!. After that I asked him to clean the floor of all over water, he just escaped by giving reason. 4. Next day I said him to clean room when we leave hotel to explore goa, he said just OK and nothing cleaned! 5. No watchman at all! You have to park your vehicle at your won risk. We came to hotel around 11 at night and blown the horn to open gate but no response! No one there! We have to open that gate by ourself. This happened with us all days we were there. 6. When we reach Goa just called him from Railway Station that we have reached Goa and coming to hotel in 3 Hrs so please make our rooms ready and clean and he said OK but actually when we reached hotel at night with family he just said no booking is visible! I said I called you in morning then he called his manager and after lots of Time Pass we family moved to rooms! 7. The hotel installed cheap quality water heaters which are available on Amazon/Flipkart for 1500 Rs. Thus don't expect Hot Water for bath because it just take 1 hr to heat less than half bucket of water! At last suggestion for all... If you want to book it for just you single person and for 1-2 days then go ahead by adjusting with the hotel staff or else if you are with family then...

We had booked 1 room with 2 double size bed for 4 person 3 months in advance(After reading the reviews)by directly contacting the owner Mr. Vinit Kumar. He was very sweet and polite at that time. Now come the time when we actually arrived to this place. His attitude while talking was totally changed. The room allocated to us was ok but the bead sheet were dirty(it had red color marks on it don't think that they had done proper dry cleaning). It got changed only after showing it to them. The shocking part was when we asked for towel they said they can provide only 2 towels that to on alternate days only. Just imagine how hygienic it would be for a person to use the a towel for 2 days. When we requested to give 4 towels the answer given was "This is what you will get and this is not a resort, if you don't like it then you can CHECK-OUT". Imagine how rude it would sound. They don't have a duplicate key to give due to which had to wait out of the room for approximately 1 hour. In our 3 night stay there was no electricity for 1 night completely.
