I stayed at this hotel with my family for 3 nights and 4 days, booking three rooms in total (1-Dec-2024 to 4-dec-2024). Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and the hotel did not meet the expectations or justify the price charged. Here’s a detailed account of my stay:
Early Check-In Request Denied: We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 AM and requested early check-in for at least one room. The request was denied, citing that the hotel was fully booked, which was disappointing after a long journey.
Parking Challenges: The parking facilities are extremely limited for four-wheelers. The narrow and L-shaped entrance from the main road makes maneuvering very difficult.
Room Conditions: When we finally checked in around 2:30 PM, the three rooms allocated to us had serious issues. Two of the rooms had water seepage on the walls, a strong fungal odor, and visible fungus in the cupboards. It was shocking that such rooms were offered to guests. Initially, the staff was reluctant to provide alternative rooms, but we managed to get them changed after intervention from our booking agent.
Room Service: The room service was average at best. Several requests, such as for shaving kits, toilet paper, and dental kits, were either delayed or forgotten. Cloth stand was not available.
Food Quality: The breakfast options were extremely limited, with only 1–2 items available. The buffet felt like a mere formality. Dinner was similarly disappointing, with the same paneer and chicken gravies served all three days, accompanied by identical desserts. On the last day, the dessert was made with spoiled milk, leading to stomach pain for two of us. While it was replaced after we complained, such negligence is alarming.
Indoor Games Area: The indoor games area is poorly maintained. The AC and lights weren’t working, and the foosball table was broken and unusable. When we informed the staff, their response was indifferent, claiming it had always been in that state.
Checkout and Fines: At checkout, I was charged for a broken water glass. And two plastic bowls that fell due to an unstable table setup. While I paid the fines, this was the first time I’ve encountered such charges at a three-star hotel.
Feedback Handling: When we tried to provide feedback, the hotel manager assumed it was due to the fines, which was both dismissive and unprofessional.

Date of Stay: 14 to 16th June 2025 My recent stay at Hotel Resort Karishma Grand in Calangute, Goa, was incredibly disappointing and I would strongly advise against booking a room here. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that the hotel was not up to par. Upon entering our room, we discovered a host of non-functional amenities. The air conditioning, a crucial necessity in this climate, simply did not work, leaving our room uncomfortably warm. The fridge was also out of order, making it impossible to store any perishables or keep drinks cold. To top it off, both landline and the television were completely dead. And as if that wasn't enough, the bathroom shower was also non-functional, making a basic necessity like a proper wash a frustrating ordeal. Naturally, we immediately contacted the front desk to report these issues and requested a room change. To our utter dismay, our request was completely disregarded. Despite repeated follow-ups throughout our entire stay, the hotel staff made no effort to move us to a functioning room or address the myriad of problems in our current one. We were left to endure the entire duration of our booking without working AC, a fridge, internet, a TV, or even a functional shower.
