Inviting ambience but the food wasn't that good

Aug 26 lunch: Another place which is walking distance from the Novotel Shrem. When we entered, there was another big group that entered, so we though it may be a good choice to eat here. The ambience was inviting with a shack like atmosphere. The beers were chilled and they had an offer on Kings - instead of 70 per bottle, a bucket of 4 cost 200 bucks. Started with masala papad which was good in taste but a bit oily. The butter garlic mushroom was kind of a disaster - there wasn't any taste - just that it was too much butter and probably too much garlic. Ordered for garlic bread to go with it. The garlic bread tasted good with right amount of garlic but the pieces were too big. The Paneer chilli was again not that good in taste as well the paneer wasn't soft. We stopped by after dinner for a drink and to listen to the music, which was very good. We ordered two drinks…..the homemade Baileys, which definitely did not have any alcohol in it and the Vietnamese Coffee. What a shock when the bill came and the total was 775! We had just been at another restaurant and hd 6 drinks for 720, which were liquor drinks, just for reference. The Vietnamese coffee was not Vietnamese coffee at all, but a spin on coffee with their home made Baileys which was no different to the one on the rocks, just twice the price. No prices on their menu board and they don’t offer them when asked. Personally I think it’s a rip off joint if prices aren’t displayed! There are better places to go with better pricing...

I went to this place with my family expecting a good dining experience but boy was i wrong. We got a table and sat there for 10 min before someone attended us. The food took about 30 min to arrive, and thats when we were the only ones in the restaurant. After about 20 min i had to call one of the the attendent and told him that we have been here for 20 min and not a single glass of water has been served to us. I was surprised by his answer. He said '' sir you have to order water.'' when he got the water bottle hi just left the water bottles and glasses on our table. No serving there. Their portion of food is small and the fish was stinking... Good location. Ok food and pathetic service. Not...
