Hotel Chandra Palace , Manali — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

I recently visited at manali on 13-15 jun 2014. I had two day stay in sun park hotel.on first day when I reached at hotel my booking was planned for delux room.I booked this from goibibo.||they offered me this delux room in out side of campus building which name was Chander palace.I was shocked I denied to check in because I booked in sun park not in Chander palace.they informed me that it is part of sun park hotel. I told them how this is possible it has different name and place.finally I have to pay 800 bucks extra to get same facility room in name of luxury room.which total cost me 4500.they can chit you any point of time. Finally I settle down.for next day I have booked honeymoon suite which cost me 6000 rs.I hope I will get much better facility in honey.suite. when I come back to hotel at 4pm.they handovered me key of my honeymoon suite.when I reached at room I can't tell you in words....it was worst room I ever stayed....polluted water in bathroom supply,old designed,horrible,out dated furniture,old dirty blankcat . I refused to continue with same room.they charged 1600 extra for this room as compare to my previous room.I called goibibo representative they were not bothred about your problem...second night I can't sleep due to this horrible ambience, even in night unknown sounds which was enough to scare you in midnight...I could not sleep properly.....I will never recommend to spoil your honeymoon ...at this hotel...only two person I found worth....ms moushami who was receptionist and waiter Bablu...it is totally waste of your money...never book deluxe room and honeymoon suite in this hotel...only luxury room is...

Worst expirence ever in my life .I booked from a travel company and it ruined my trip.firstly they denied my booking,later gave me a room where bathroom was overflowing with water,no hot water.its a very old building from inside and don't have lift,furnitures are all damaged and old pattern.very unhygienic property.staff is less and behavior of the manager is rude.will charge u the whole amount in advance,so u can't leave this property.on duty hours the staff work drunken,and fight with u if u complain for anything that was committed.the property doesn't look the same as in picture,so before booking a stay becareful.its nt a 3 star...

Booked through GoIbibo and paid in advance. Denied check in after reaching the hotel as they said that they don't have any idea how you are booking us online as we are fully booked since the last three days.

Staff was rude and barely paid any attention to the fact that I have a booking voucher. They did this just to keep the rooms vacant for people who are willing to pay double the online booking price as this is the peak season.

I have never in my life faced such an issue at a hotel, would advise fellow travellers to avoid this hotel at any cost as business ethics always matters and god knows what they can do to you for...
