AFTER TRAVELING ACROSS THE COUNTRY THIS IS THE MOST UNHYGIENIC PLACE IN TERMS OF LOCATION, ROOM AND SERVICE. HIS BEST ROOM IS THE WORST ROOM YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE. DON'T GO WITH THE PICTURE ON GOOGLE.||||This guy worked for make my trip and knows the hack to improve and show his rating better by faking account and getting 5 star.||||LOCATION: This property is located outside the main city and will give you a feeling of military training with all your backpacks. If you are up for it then do book it.||||STAFF: The owner vikash is rarely sitting in his property as he is busy making money somewhere else and is least interested in providing quality experience to his CX. Only 1 staff Sunil is taking care of this property. Room vs staff is limited.||||ROOMS: This guy has taken an old house on lease and is least maintained. Water leaking from all over the place if it rains. Stinky bedsheets and pillows. You ask for replacement and they will provide you much stinkier blankets. Dirty mats all over the place. In toilet you don't have space to even stand properly. If you are claustrophobic please don't book it. If it rains the whole property is in mud and surrounded by water/insects/flies.||||NOT AT ALL PET FRIENDLY: This place is not at all pet friendly. Infact I saw him supporting abuse. Also this place is so dirty that your dog will not survive even a single day if not locked up in a room. You can't take out the dogs for walks as it too much inside the village and gets too dark. No proper lighting in...
Read moreI am about to share my experience, though I stayed at a different property but both the stays comes under the same host. I stayed at bluemoon, he was very friendly at first but when we checked the condition of the rooms and pointed out the issues 1. Unclean basins and rooms 2. poop in the commodes 3.no buckets, towels and toiletries provided 4. the pillows are black from the inside 5. Even the blankets are heavy with dirt and not washed. And he was not even sorry rather he screamed and threatened us to take us to the police station. After 12 hours of hectic journey we reached kasol and then we got host like him and rooms even more pathetic. We reached around 1 am and we tried to use the washroom and get to see the poop instead and we raised our concerns , we got angry as we paid 3.5k and 5.5k for the two rooms. He was not at all sorry and claimed money for both the days instantly because he know we won't be able to stay there and will leave as soon as possible . Somehow we managed the night and check out as soon as the sun rises.
Dear host, Please be hospitable because you will not only get doped bachelors as guests and if you are charging 500, the rooms you have provided are still understandable but if you are charging 5.5k atleast make the stays a bit comfortable and keep the amenities...
Read moreThis is a beautiful place to stay if you are deciding to stay in Kasol. You wouldn't wanna stay very close to the Kasol market since it is pretty noisy with lot of people around. If you are someone like me, looking to stay away from all the city hush and be surrounded with Interesting people, Memoir would be the place to be. This isn't for somebody who is looking for the luxurious stay (Kasol isn't for somebody like that). You would have to walk a little from the Kasol market but once you reach here, the view, place, rawness of the house and people would be something you'd really enjoy. Payal who runs the show here is very supportive and helpful. They have cooks who could prepare what you want. I Stayed here for around 4-5 days and I had fun everyday. Meet new people, enjoy the serenity of the place and need some time off your city life, then you'd enjoy this. There definitely were some discussion around "Social Hours" (Where everybody gets out of their rooms to interact with people staying). I remember having lot of interesting discussions!! So all in all, Stay here if you wanna stay close enough to the market and yet far from...
