Spent about roughly 5 hours yesterday in this beautiful, scenic cafe of Kasol and I am writing this today on 2nd Aug as I've reached Delhi couple of hours ago. Location: The entrance of this cafe is on the left hand side (if walking towards manikaran gurudwara). It's in the main market of Kasol, the lane right before the garden on your left where you have to walk about 100-200mtrs. to reach this beautiful cafe. Wonderful decor, beautifully kept and of course the nature adds the rest to the cafe giving THE BEST VIEW IN KASOL! Staff: since I was there for couple of hours I happen to interact with couple of staff members and all of them are very professional, friendly and helpful. Food: I reached this place during the lunch but I decided to start with a cold coffee, followed by a pasta, couple more americanos and a chicken cheese fries to end the night with. I would like to start with something that I observed that they serve regular dinking water (RO water) so of course it's clean and they're not using bottled water which is great. Moving on to my oders I can say that this is THE BEST COFFEE PLACE IN KASOL. My first coffee was a cold coffee and I asked him not to make it extra sweet and they got me something which was truly enjoyable. I loved it. Then I had couple of iced americanos and they were again amazing so if you truly a coffee lover and you happen to come to Kasol, you can not miss this place. After my first coffee I ordered aglio-olio pasta. The pasta was al-dante (and not over-cooked) I was happy to see that but that's it. It was a salted pasta tossed in some oil (I can't say if it was good olive oil because there was no fragrance of olive oil. I could see chopped garlic but it was not cooked in the oil so it leaves the aroma and that is the whole point of this dish. The bread that was served with pasta was not toasted properly and was cold. I am sorry but The pasta looked depressing. My last order was cheesy chicken fries and it was not worth 250rupees it was regular fries with some dried chicken breast pieces (dried coz the chicken was overcooked) and definitely no presentation at all. The kind of place they're running is amazing but they seriously have to look into the kitchen as they have zero presentation skills whatsoever and they should also do random food tastings because it was not great! Other then that location amazing, great coffee without a doubt.

One of the best locations for a cafe, I have been to! Food is average compared to the price. We ordered burgers with which in the menu it was mentioned it will be served with in house sweet potato fries. And to our disappointment no one even addressed this while taking the order that it’s unavailable. On top of that when we asked the person to check he said he will check and get back to us, he didn’t even respond until we asked again and we got the small portion of normal frozen potato fries. For 550₹ a burger, this felt like a rip off. Another thing to particularly mention (felt like being cheated) is that when we received the bill they added all the GST taxes + service charge of 10%. Service charge is completely baseless and not mandatory in India. Ofcourse you can tip the waiter for good service, but you cannot directly add 10% to the bill. We asked them to remove this service charge and then they did. We have visited other really good cafes around the area too, and in terms of location this was the best, but in terms of food there are really other good cafes around here. And beware of the service charge scam here! :)

All about my experience after paying 5k for this horrible property. I recently stayed at OffLimits Kasol and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The hotel fell far below my expectations in several key areas. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the rooms was abysmal. The bedding appeared unwashed, and the bathroom had a lingering odor. The floors were dusty, and there were dampness in the corners, which made the entire room feel unhygienic. Secondly, the service was incredibly poor. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, often ignoring our requests or responding with a bad attitude. The amenities advertised were also misleading. The Wi-Fi was virtually non-existent, making it impossible to stay connected. The hot water supply was erratic at best. Lastly, the food at the hotel's restaurant was subpar. Overall, my stay at Off Limits Kasol was highly disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Kasol. There are plenty of other options in the area that offer much better service and value for money.

My visit to Off Limits Cafe in Kasol was a mixed experience. Let’s start with the highlight—the chicken shawarma. It was out of this world, with perfectly seasoned chicken and a delightful blend of spices that made it an absolute treat. However, the rest of the meal didn’t live up to the same standard. We also tried the chicken sandwich and both cold and hot coffee, but unfortunately, they were quite disappointing. The chicken sandwich lacked flavor, and the coffees were underwhelming—honestly, I could make better coffee at home. To add to the disappointment, the service was lacking. Despite the place being filled with staff, they didn’t seem to care to listen or attend to our needs. It felt like our presence was barely acknowledged. To make matters worse, we paid over 3k for everything, which felt way overpriced for what we got.

First of all for location and view 5 stars but you can find many places around kasol free of cost better than this now come to services , services are very poor .I also visited on last weekend and ordered the food and waited for 1:30 hour and nothing came and i left because at the end waiter came asked me 4th time to order again. today i am sitting here right now worst quality pasta even i complained and they replaced it but no improvement it’s raw and taste is so raffish i can’t even tell i have never tasted this poor quality pasta in such kind of so-called hyped places like this not even in average restaurants and cafes and am attaching the photos just incase for blind followers and bloggers everything on social media isn’t gold. Last thing prices are too high according to quality , quantity and services not worth it at all
