Hotel Nova Star - Moti Tanki Chowk — Hotel in Gujarat

Hotel Star Palace is one of the best value for money hotels in Rajkot. The rooms are clean and well maintained, same goes for the washrooms. There are A/C and Non A/C rooms available. Don't expect anything high fashion in this hotel, but everything is functional and it is a no non-sense hotel. The hotel has high speed WiFi, which is a good thing as for some reason telephone signal is weak in the hotel premises. There is 24x7 water supply and you are given few travellers accessories as you enter the room, One dental kit containing a toothbrush and toothpaste, one hair comb, one packet of soap and shampoo.

Now the bad side about the hotel, the hotel is located on undoubtedly one of the busiest junctions of Rajkot. So it's not very quiet if that's what you are looking for. Constant traffic and vehicle noises and the hussle bussle of the city. Apart from that, there is no Cable TV, there is a TV with a Set Top Box, but none of the channels are subscribed to and basically you can't watch anything on the TV. Not even daily soap channels like star plus and colors, this is the only reason I took off one star.

Bad experience ever... We already booked 3 rooms online. We confirmed our booking even with phone. When we reached at night there, they didn't allow us to stay in the room without IDs. As our phone were switched off, we told them we will give them ID once our phone will start. Poor service.. The rooms are also not good. Dustbins are also damaged. We booked deluxe rooms but we got a too bad room. The color of the wall is damaged. The bedsheets are dirty. overall, the whole experience was too bad. The service is too bad.. Will not recommend this hotel to family, as room was so so so poor, fully unfurnished, Wall without paint, entire rajkot wastage is dumped behind the hotel which was very smelling if you keep windows open. If you ask for a water bottle means you have to wait at least 30-45 min, OMG do not ask for a breakfast.. We got our breakfast more than a hour consistently 2 days we noticed... & 3rd day we started to go outside rather than having a pathetic service. No towel, soap, shampoo, hot water etc..

Dear Owner, please improve else you'll lose your business.. & at least keep an educated...
