My stay at this hotel left much to be desired. I had booked a super deluxe room with the complimentary facility of early check-in, which should have set the tone for a pleasant experience. However, the disappointment began at the check-in counter. Despite the check-in time being advertised as 12 noon, we were informed by a rather rude receptionist that we would have to wait for an additional 1.5 hours due to the previous guest not yet vacating the room. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the receptionist's attitude took a turn for the worse, displaying a complete lack of professionalism.
After finally gaining access to the room after a prolonged 3-hour wait, the condition of the bedding was shocking. The sheets were visibly dirty with stains, and the same could be said for the blanket, curtains, and pillow covers. The inclusion of a small rug in the room was a terrible choice, as its mere sight was enough to elicit a feeling of disgust.
To make matters worse, the hotel enforced a strict policy against outside food, using the excuse of potential non-vegetarian orders. The in-house dining options were not only limited but also exorbitantly priced. For instance, a simple dish like aloo parantha, which typically costs around Rs 50, was being charged at an inflated rate of Rs 110. Additionally, they provided just one water bottle for a room meant for two people, and any extra water bottles were subject to a ridiculous extra charge of Rs 10 per bottle.
Requesting room cleaning was an exercise in futility, as it never materialized. The washroom, while seemingly clean, emitted a strong smoky odor, making it apparent that someone had been smoking there. The overall ambiance and service quality of this hotel left much to be desired, and it resembled more of an OYO establishment than a reputable hotel. My stay here was far from pleasant, and I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at the this Hotel Maharaja Papace, located in sec 38 Gurugram. Furts, the receptionist staff were extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. They seemed disinterested in assisting guests and were downright rude when I had questions about my reservation.
The problems didn't end there. The room I was assigned to was in terrible condition. The carpets were stained, the bathroom was dirty, and the air conditioning was barely working. I immediately called the front desk to request a room change, but they brushed me off and said they were fully booked, even though I had made a reservation well in advance. They even said that, if you don't like it just vacate the room in the middle of night.
To make matters worse, the hotel's services were a complete letdown. The food was overpriced and tasteless. The Wi-Fi was painfully slow and unreliable, making it impossible to get any work done during my stay.
Overall, my experience at the Hotel Maharaja palace was nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying there to look elsewhere for...
