Hi everyone ! worst experience with this hotel - checked in the hotel on 1st May 2022 afternoon. The hotel is looking Spectacular from outside but inside the service was pathetic. Lift was not working no light in the room a/c was not working.Overall ambience was not good. Calling continuously from landline leads to availability of Hotel staff. Staff are not cooperative at all. The incident was happen with us is very bad . we called Restaurant for ice and cool water .we received ice and water after half an hour that to ice with cockroach filled inside that was very bad it means hotel restaurant is not cleaned at all .Hotel not able to give fresh water and ice what we can expect that hotel will provide good food not at all. Its ok sometimes it will happen we are ready to corporate with hotel still by this big incident which was happen with us. Hotel people are telling sorry we called restaurant manger he is also saying sorry. But if you think by customer point of view this is gone be big problem with hotel against Hygiene which leads a big complain against hotel that also will procced. After 4 days of hotel stay we checked out hotel on 4 th day we came to reception for payment .we are ready to pay Rs 13000 for 4 days (that to huge amount with worst service ).While going out from hotel suddenly one housekeeping came from our room bought bedsheet which is holed and he is blaming us that you people did this. But we are telling him that we haven't did this he was like sir you only did this. Reception girl was telling us to pay for bedsheet that to Rs1000 after paying 13000 still they wont 1000 rupees for bedsheet. spoken with manger as well he said sir we are providing fresh bedsheet as he is very sure that earlier bedsheet was not toned you people only did this. He told me that sir go and check my each rooms bedsheet then tell. This kind of manager you will find at hotel emporia the way they speak with guests there.no respect nothing. So, iam requesting each and every Guest who gone visit hotel Emporia please check your bedsheet before sleep it is compulsory by hotel side as they said.as at the end you have to pay for bedsheet as well bedsheet that too Rs 1000.Better you people add Rs 1000 on bill as a tip its is good but don't do this kind of stuff with guest. Please don't trust hotel from outside at all and google images. Read more11/06/22 Edit: Review does not change much. Same expectation us gauranteed. Came in after months and was greeted as an old customer. They rememvered me abd were quick to help me settle in. I came without a booking.
First review: This is a hotel situated near center of Haldwani - quite at reach of different amenities that you may need. Major hospitals, purchasing outlets, bus station, taxi stand to go onward to the hills are are within a walking distance one way or the other. This makes the location very apt for your stays in Haldwani.
In addition, the hotel itself is maintained very clean and with a very friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. In the past 3-4 months, I have had to visit Haldwani repeatedly for different work and each time the staff was very accommodating, friendly, helpful and sincere in their willingness.
The food quality in the Hotel is excellent and the kitchen is willing to accommodate requests quickly if you have a certain need. The time to food readiness is also quite prompt - this is a great plus. In many hotels the food is good but service may end up delaying your dinner sustantially that it affects your own time table. It was easier for me to plan meals around my day instead of planning my day around the the food because of the time delay.
Housekeeping staff are also delightful as were the reception & dining area staff. It is pleasant to see young people with such enthusiasm, genuine friendliness and sincerity given that the hospitality industry is not really easy.
Kudos to Mr. Deepak Bhandari - who is always with a smile and has put in the right discipline into managing the hotel so that we as guests can enjoy...
Read moreIt's fairly new hotel in the area. Staff are very attentive, well presented, too much caring (!) and friendly. Reception area is very small not enough for waiting for sometime for the cab to arrive for a pickup or to meet someone. Rooms are neat, clean, standard in size and with standard amenities. Complimentary breakfast is available only on an a la carte basis (very limited items to choose from) as it seems there are not many takers in the hotel to offer it as a buffet. Once ordered for Chicken Dum biriyani for dinner (see the picture) but what I got is a half cooked rice mixed in Chicken gravy. Chicken was also not fresh. If staying alone, the food portion sizes in their restaurant are too much to be consumed by a single person. Asked for plate meals (Thali) but unfortunately not available.
