Visited this place last night on recommendation of a business associate. But turned to be a below average stay considering the kind of money they charge. Look wise it's is really nice but when comes to facilities and amenities, it fails miserably. Attach pictures shows the kind of bath linen, upkeep of room mirrors and walls are taken care of. I checked in at 1930 hrs and there was a strange sound of drain in the room. I tried calling but there intercoms are TOO modern and the one in bathroom was broken. Didn't dared to touch at first but somehow got guts to call and inform. First someone from HK team came noticed the issued and said will send a plumber. Then after an hour or so, another gentleman came but left saying that he is an electrician. Finely when I was having my dinner after two hours around 2200 hrs, a plumber came and spent 5-10 min to address the issue and left. In bathroom, there were all amenities and properly kept and secured. It was so secured that to open a soap, i had to struggle as the quality of plastic used is not purforated so that one can easily tear it off and especially with wet hands. All taps and fixtures have water mark and hand jet, seems chrome layer comes off as soon as you use.
Courtesy: ? Where as i can understand the plumber must be busy, informing a customer is something very minimal we expect. No one called or informed that plumber is attending a call and may come or asking a convenient time when a customer wants this complaint to be checked and sorted.
I was eating and i was requested to sign the additional bill which I had ordered. I requested the guy that leave it here and when I call for clearance he can take it along. He said clearance will be done tomorrow morning but i have to sign it. The clearance can be kept outside in corridor which no hotel would like to be seen by other guests, but here it is different.
There is no way they inform that hotel is kind of no smoking during reservation, there is no information displayed at check in too. They don't have a smoking room or zone. On top of that they don't have openable windows or balconies. We were two colleagues and requested for twin beds but they said they don't have a twin, may be it was full, so as a courtesy two quilts or blankets could have been offered. When room is on double occupancy, the amenities like sleepers, soaps, etc needs to be as per occupancy, please do not expect it to be here. You have TCMF in the rooms, but agains, there will be no cups and only two glasses.
I won't recommend and don't wish to stay with Clarks Inn considering my this stay. Please ensure that you know all hotel policies and abide with them. Marking two and a half star as it's nice body I mean building but for soul search somewhere else.
And last they have some of the smallest rooms I have seen, cramped and packed. They can not afford any good channels and even some music channel which costs 0.50 Paisa, that's also you...
