Hotel Ambika and Restaurant - Best Hotel & Restaurant in Palampur — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

I along with my family stayed in this hotel/guest house for 2 nights i.e. 30th & 31st July'15. There were total 2 rooms booked by us. Rooms were not ready at the time of Check In, probably because of Check In time, however they provided us one NON AC room for the time being, appreciated. Hotel building is also new which is again appreciated.||List of problems which I want to mention over here 1. Dirty Towels, 2. No water supply in the morning, 3. No Room Service during late hours, even no one will pick your phone and you can find all staff sleeping on floor in lobby, 4. Tasteless food, a piece of coal come in my mouth while eating Paneer Tikka Masala, 5. Toiletry limited to soap and towel only, no paper rolls, no shower cubical and no provision of stopping water spreading on entire bathroom.||Good thing is location, its on main road and half an hour from baijnath Temple, staff is bit attentive but need improvement in this area as well.||Overall what more you can expect in this price bracket, its not a star hotel but if they give little emphasis in all the mentioned areas they can generate better good will for...

Dishonest Pricing – BEWARE!

Very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. They showed us an old menu with lower prices, but when the bill came, the total was much higher than expected. When we questioned it, they casually said, "Prices have changed recently" — but nowhere was this mentioned, and they didn’t inform us before we ordered.

This is a clear case of fraud — misleading customers with outdated menus and charging higher amounts at billing time. Completely unethical and unprofessional behavior.
