Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, my recent stay at The Posh Hotel proved to be a truly enchanting experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the tone for a memorable retreat. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Dhualadhaar mountains, this hidden gem seamlessly blended modern comforts with the tranquility of nature. As I reflect on my stay, it becomes evident that the Posh Hotel not only provided a comfortable haven but also embraced me in the soothing embrace of Himachal's serene charm||Location and Property:|The property is situated approximately 10 km away from Dharamshala in a very serene and peaceful atmosphere. The property is located approximately a 5-minute walking distance from the main square of the Mcleodganj Town. There are multiple restaurants and cafes located beside the hotel. ||The entire property is well-maintained and managed by a group of carefully chosen professionals. Needless to mention that the owner of the property Mr. Jawed took every step to ensure that we get a comfortable stay throughout the period. We booked two interconnected rooms (Premium and Deluxe) for 5 nights and got the best rates from Mr. Jawed. It is recommended that you contact him directly for booking as it will reduce the expenses for both parties and you will get the best price for the rooms. ||Rooms:|Both the premium and deluxe rooms are well-planned and interconnected through a common balcony. The rooms are spacious and provides you the feeling of comfort and luxury at the same time. The premium room has wooden flooring and a big French window from which the Dhauladhar Mountain Range is visible comfortably. The deluxe room is comparatively smaller in size however, it is east-facing and has a similar French window for the view of the valley and a partial view of the Mountains. The rooms have all the amenities that you require in a hill station. The rooms are cleaned daily and the washrooms are super clean and maintained. The property provides bathroom slippers and wipers too, which I found a very thoughtful gesture of the property. The linens and the blankets were of good quality and provided comfort as you used them. ||Both the rooms also had a table and a sofa set for having food items or for doing any work if required. Heaters are available on a chargeable basis however, we got it complimentary as part of the rooms package only. ||Food:|You name it and they have it. The chef of the hotel prepares delicious food. The taste is homemade and they take the pain of providing customized preparation as well. They have honored every request that we made for food preparation. I haven't tried the buffet breakfast but the aloo paratha from the ala carte menu was sumptuous and satiating. In-room dining and service are available without any extra cost to your pocket. |||Service:|To start with Mr. Jawed has been very considerate in accommodating my requests throughout our stay. He has arranged cab services for pick up from Dharamshala Airport. Also, for local sightseeing, he has arranged cabs at a very reasonable rate. He is a man of his word. Very transparent and honest in his dealings. He designs the tour packages as per your needs at a very affordable rate. We took cab services for Khajjiar, Dalhousie, Kharota Valley, etc from the hotel itself. Finally, I also got a drop facility to Amritsar through him only. ||His line managers Mr. Binod and Mr. Nagesh are very helpful and radiate a very positive ambiance in the reception area. They are very prompt and extremely helpful people. Your trip experience elevates when you are in the company of such cheerful people. Mr. Vishan Singh, who took care of our in-room services is a very dedicated employee with a positive outlook. He has thoroughly provided us with a supply of warm water in Thermos and took the pain of providing us with food as and when required. The hotel also obliged us by providing the room heaters in both the rooms without any extra charges (though they were chargeable). I feel so honored for such an obligation. ||Overall it was one of the best experiences I had to date. Kudos to the management and staff. Keep it up....

Posh hotel is a great place to stay at Mcleodganj because of the proximity with the main market and eateries/ cafes, well maintained rooms, hospitality and mountain views. | |We stayed in the Premium room at the hotel for three nights (two adults and a kid). The room had a very nice feel with wooden flooring and wooden interiors. There were big glass windows on two sides and the view from the balcony opened towards the green mountains with the snow-capped mountains just behind it. The view from the balcony is excellent. It can be also enjoyed from their terrace where they are now setting up a new restaurant. Bathrooms are new and tidy with all facilities like dryer, geyser, toiletries etc. The support staff (Deshraj, Preetam) is prompt in attending any request. Vinod and Nihal at the reception were helpful to answer any queries. ||The food and service (Wasim, Happy) in the hotel restaurant is good. Breakfast items like parathas, sandwich, poori items, toast etc. were prepared well. ||A special mention for Javed, the owner of the hotel. He interacts with all the guests and is very friendly and responsive to the needs of the guests and helpful in finalizing the travel itinerary. He arranged for our taxi pick-up from Amritsar followed by sightseeing at Dalhousie, Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. The driver (Thanu) was an expert in driving in the Himachal area and attentive to the requirements. The road to reach the hotel is quite steep and he navigated it with ease.||Overall, The Posh Hotel is highly recommended for a comfortable stay for families...
