This place is a 2 star hotel at best.
We booked a suite for 2 nights and the issues began the second we stepped in at the front desk.
Front Desk: a. Cant find my reservation - Not sure if they have interns for work at the front desk, but the guy could not find the reservation for good 10 minutes (at this point I'm tired as I've travelled 22hrs). His co-worker steps in and pulls up the reservation in a second.
b. Helping 2 customers at the same time by the same guy - The front desk that was helping me was also helping someone check out. This checkout customer came over to the front desk much later than I did, but Mr.Intern still took it upon himself to help him out while I'm waiting for my room keys. Mr.Intern could also not figure out how to process the other customers transaction, the other customer at this point is openly yelling at the front desk.
c. Chaos - There were 3 customers at the front desk at the same time, that were all angry and verbally stating their dissatisfaction to their respective front desks. Across 5 continents I have never witnessed anything like this at the front desk of a luxury hotel that charges an arm and a leg for a night's stay.
Overall it took 30 minutes before I got the room keys, this is when they weren't even busy.
Room Services: a. Food - Food service to the room was great. No issues here. b. Extra Bed - I'm not even kidding, I called for an extra bed over 5 times. The final round, I had to raise my voice and put them in place before I got the extra bed. c. Room menu - I can't believe this place had a menu that was all sorts of scratched up by a little kid I assume. So much for a "luxury" hotel. d. Floor mats - None were there when we walked in. Had to call to get some. e. Extra whiskey glasses - the guy I spoke to requesting extra whiskey cups was the strangest experience I've had at a hotel. The guy asks "why do you need extra cups". I told him "I'm going to shower using them, do you care?". f. Night 2 the room key looses charge. "Facepalm" movement at this point and no more energy to fight these people.
Manager This guy immediately acknowledged my dissatisfaction when I was checking out. But this guy was also present during my check-in process and when several other customers were visibly mad at the front desk employees, he looked helpless. I appreciate the fact that he acknowledged their shortcomings, but remember what a bad taste it leaves in peoples mouths.
I have no advise for management as this is by far the worst hotel experience I've had and WILL NOT visit Park, Hyderabad again. Park, Chennai and Bangalore should probably train the...
Read moreI have no idea why no one has mentioned so far how DIRTY the rooms are. There was mould everywhere in the bathroom and hair in the grouting. It's like the walls of the shower hadn't been cleaned in months. When I first walked in the room I smelt a smoke smell and when it was mentioned to the staff, they told me it was a "damp" smell, not smoke. Maybe they should look at what the "dampness" is doing to the room... maybe that's why this place is mould infested? The phone in the room is so old, and it wouldn't allow me to pick up calls i was receiving from reception. I would pick it up and it it would just keep ringing for another 5 minutes. The towels they gave out were very stained, and that's ok as long as they are clean, but you don't expect stained towels from such a highly rated hotel. The curtains in the room had multiple stains on them too. It was all very disappointing to look at. There was also a lot of little flies, I'm assuming fruit flies roaming the room my entire stay. They wouldn't just be in the "bedroom" but also the bathroom? I was constantly swatting them away. I had such a problem with room service. I would order something and it wouldn't arrive until I asked for it a second and third time, and the staff were just so hard to communicate with. Overall, DO NOT STAY HERE until they clean up their rooms properly for their guests and hire better more understanding staff.
Some positives I do have is the place (lobby / restaurants) were stunning to look at. The architecture of the Place is probably one of the only reasons I wouldn't give this place a 0. The Food at the Restaurant is very nice as well, I would recommend for everyone, and they were understanding when I told them about my allergies.
It's hard not to set high expectations for The Park when they are currently rated 4.0, and when those expectations are not even closely met. I do have the duty to inform others. Hope this helped you on making a decision about staying at The Park. One thing I also noticed was on google reviews the response from the management team is all the same. This makes me feel like the feedback is not really taken consideration.

If you are booking a lake view it's just waste of money and ruining your piece of mind as you need to have a fight with them to get the some what partial lake view. please check images attached here how the lake view from rooms are and on top of it room is full of dirty mats to stinking bathrooms and they will not agree to change room easily once you check-in so always check room first then check in if at all unfortunately, you have booked room here.1) Check-in is the worst part. Irresponsible people you will meet here. Here you would always see one or other having fight with them for the bad rooms and bad service and as they unable to serve what promised.2) Once you check-in you will not be getting a change in room untill you raise voice in 3rd floor! ridiculously irresponsible staff i could see only one lady name starting with "s" tried to solve problem of customers all other staff either delegate issues or ask to wait and they go inside or they have fight within them self and managers are on phone surfing whatever the customers issue be.3) If you keep luggage here after check out and expect the staff to provide rest room to freshenup or charge your phone its notgonna happen! you would be asked to go to spa area and they are dumb and rude staff sitting there who would not co operate ask you to move some where else and this goes on and don't expect they would even help you charging any of electric device. rude and irrisponsible and irritating staff.4) Voice from one room is audible in another room very loudly. even a person watching tv in next room was audible in our room also the conversations of other rooms was clearly audible!Our experience:We got a room which was stinking badly and staff asked to stay there they would clean and there was no lake view it was completely buildings view and staff looked irrisponsible addressing to issue and were never serious for changing room untill we raised voice there and returned room key asking refund.( not only us we could see 2 to 3 people who were frustrated with same thing on the counter )this is second room which we got after all this drama.Attaching lake view room pics.Dirty spa pics.Dirty sofas pics.Overall you will ruin your day if you stay here untill you are fine handling all this drama and getting dirty and noisy room without any view after paying big chunk. this could not even stand...
