I usually try to stay optimistic about dining experiences, but my recent visit to KFC - Somajiguda was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. From start to finish, this meal was a reminder that sometimes, things can go disastrously wrong. My visit to this location was marred by a series of issues that must be addressed for the benefit of potential customers.
Cleanliness and Hygiene: The state of the restaurant was appalling. The floor was littered with food debris and trash, and the tables were dirty, which suggested a complete disregard for cleanliness. The restrooms were in a deplorable condition, reflecting a serious lapse in basic hygiene practices. This lack of cleanliness not only affected the dining atmosphere but also raised significant concerns about overall food safety.
Customer Service: The customer service was shockingly subpar. Divya, the counter staff, was exceptionally rude and arrogant. After waiting at the counter for over 20 minutes with no assistance, Divya's response was dismissive and contemptuous. Moreover, I observed another staff member handling food with bare hands—scratching various parts of his body and then touching the food. This blatant disregard for proper hygiene standards was both unprofessional and unsettling.
Food Quality: The food quality was abysmal. The chicken served had a rotten and foul smell, indicating it was far from fresh. The French fries were dried out, stale, and hard, with an off-putting odor suggesting they had been sitting around for an extended period. Additionally, my order was missing two items, which was a frustrating oversight. The food served did not meet the quality standards expected from KFC, and the missing items only compounded the disappointment.
Overall Experience: The restaurant's ambiance was shabby and uncomfortable, exacerbated by a non-functional air conditioning system. When I voiced my concerns about the food’s freshness and the missing items, Divya’s response was dismissive and indifferent, as if she were doing me a favor by serving me. I paid approximately 1000 rupees for a meal that, at best, was worth 50 rupees. This experience has not only left me dissatisfied but also disheartened as a loyal KFC customer.
In conclusion, KFC Somajiguda has fallen far short of acceptable standards. The combination of unclean conditions, poor customer service, inedible food, and incomplete orders reflects a severe decline in the restaurant’s quality. After calling the helpline number and speaking to Mr.Heamanth whose manager was Mr.Srinivas they made me wait for another half an hour. The person at the counter was Akram Khan whom I asked, where is my order he points out to someone inside the kitchen saying he attends to online ordering. He wouldn't even call someone to attend to me. This is not the first time I'm visiting this place. It's always only one system and one person at the counter. Akram Khan was super rude and would barely even want to listen to what I was saying. Later the helpline number I called got through with the manager who was Mr.Ratnakar. He called me to the counter and pretended scolding Akram khan . For which Akram clearly said I asked someone to attend but they never paid attention. After so much manager quietly tells me we don't have the wings. Would boneless strips do. At this point I was frustrated for which I said was it for the wings that I was made to wait he says no sir they just got over. Akram had also told me that the popcorn would take15 mins time minimum I told him but I've ordered much before I reached here how is it that it's not packed yet?
PS:I understand it takes 30mins to prepare my order but finally I received it only at 10:36 that's more than an hour after placing my order. KFC sadly hasn't paid any attention to my problem and has shown least concern regarding this issue. That's how great their customer relationship is. The very reason i did a pick up was that the delivery guy takes for ever to reach.
The chicken is not juicy anymore it's more of dried up kinda chicken. If I'm not wrong I've seen flies in one of visit here.

Read moreIt was unpleasant experience when ever I have been to this place at Somajiguda branch, staffs was carried a poor body language and behaviour towards your query, they never suggest you and guide you regarding offers infact if you asked them to know about the offers they won't explain you appropriately.
Staffs are having lack of listening skills they won't listen to you properly and always involved in group discussion amongst themselves.
Manager never available at the counter to address such incidents.
Worst , poor, & ugly service from such reputed brand .
I have ordered ""cheesa kfc '" and the way it was mentioned in pictures was not at all in terms of quantity and quality.
Over cheesa we couldn't find a cheese itself .
They are making fool around customers
It has just got name and we don't have any other alternative to have crispy chicken and these guys are least bother about service and food quality and quantity.
I would strongly recommend to the visiters take stand against such money making brands and stopp stepping into their premises for a while untill unless they improved and over come the above...
