Extremely good hotel quality but equally pathetic staff. Stayed here for two nights with family. By far, this hotel has the most rude workforce in the 100s of hotels I have been to, I think 80% of them has to be fired to make sure that the guests have good experience.
Factors: Checking in We went to see the room before checking in. After seeing the room and approving, my father was staying in the room and I was going down with the manager to do the check in process. This rude fellow took out the keycard, the gate closed and my father was there in the dark. He said that he will give the card only after I sign. This was frustrating as I was already going down with him to do the process, however instead of informing, he was rude and loud and locked my father in that room. I fought with him and then put the keycard in the room and then went to checkin.
Sleeping We were two guests and we asked for two extra pillows in the room as the room had only two. At first they said that the room has pillows, when pressured, they said that they can give only one pillow, when the boy gave one pillow, we requested 2-3 times again to get the 2nd pillow. I mean, this is the first hotel I have been to where I have been refused for something as basic as a pillow.
Cleaning We called for over 6-7 times and requested to send housekeeping for cleaning the room, but, everytime they would say, that the team is in your floor only and is cleaning other rooms, we will come to your room soon. Morning 10AM to evening around 6 or 7PM, they didn't. Finally after some rough talking the work was completed.
Extreme rudeness to guests My aunt had come to visit us with an event guy to have a meeting in the room. The manager/receptionist came and started scolding and behaving rough with a very loud voice saying "You come down right now, I dont know, first checkin and then go". This was extreme. Finally we had to scream back at him saying that visiting guests dont need to checkin.
This has been my worst hotel stay experience. I hope the owners take the review seriously and teach their staff the basics of hospitality, afterall, the industry is all about hospitality.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ratangarh Palace, located in the charming town of Ratangarh, Rajasthan. My experience at this hotel was truly exceptional, and I can't help but share my thoughts on this hidden gem.
From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality. The staff was not only courteous but also went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The check-in process was swift, and I was escorted to my room, which was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness immediately caught my eye.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning architecture and historical charm. The Ratangarh Palace is a beautifully restored heritage property, and every corner of the hotel exudes a sense of history and elegance. The courtyards, frescoes, and intricate designs on the walls make you feel like you've stepped back in time while still enjoying modern amenities.
The hotel's dining experience was a delight. I savored local Rajasthani cuisine at the on-site restaurant, and the flavors were nothing short of incredible. The staff was more than willing to cater to my dietary preferences and provided excellent recommendations. Dining in the open courtyard under the starlit sky added to the enchanting ambiance.
Moreover, the hotel offers a range of activities and excursions. I took a guided tour of the surrounding area and learned about the rich history of Ratangarh, which was a unique and enriching experience.
The hotel's swimming pool and spa facilities were also well-maintained, offering a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploration.
What truly sets Hotel Ratangarh Palace apart is the staff's commitment to guest satisfaction. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries, and their warm smiles and personal attention made me feel like an honored guest.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Ratangarh Palace was an unforgettable experience. The hotel seamlessly combines heritage, luxury, and warmth. If you're looking for a unique and charming retreat in Rajasthan, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Ratangarh Palace. It's a place where history and hospitality come together to create an...

The worst part was that instead of doing something for us they said to change the hotel.. we don't expect this kind of behaviour from the staff ... This all happened bcoz there was no staff as it seems to be like we have booked some kind of lodge 😡😡 The person at the reception was a kind of nibba no professional staff was there ... And the way he was talking with us it was extremely mannerless ..😡 The hotel lacks for the professional staff ... Even they don't greet there customers .. The even they don't ask for any kind of services.... The rooms were good but in bath room there was no tap and no bucket ... I asked then for bucket they sent it to me after 2 days 😠 And parking space is not spacial .. At last if u are looking for just ac room with good ambience and above things don't bother you then you can definitely go for it as they accept local ID's too ... else not...
