Awful, I got food poisoning!
I went to Farmacy because they said the food was healthy. I don’t know in what way it’s healthy and I couldn’t see any write up about why they think it’s healthier than anywhere else. The restaurant is in a lovely big house and it’s beautifully decorated. I really liked the big chairs and table with the figurines inside. It’s worth going just to see that. The owners welcomed me with open arms, and were really smiley, lovely and chatty. I felt a bit intimidated though, with them all standing around me. They kept coming in whilst I was working and chatting to me, when I was clearly doing something. I’m sure they were just excited to have me there. Then when I had been given the food, the chef/waiter kept coming in and just standing there watching me eat. It was awful! I had to ask him to go away.
They blasted out really loud and annoying dance music, which I never want to listen to over dinner. I had to ask for the music to be turned off 3 times as it kept coming back on. By the time it came on a 4th time, I’d given up!
As a foreigner who cannot handle spicey food, I ordered the least spicey food on the menu and asked them to make it mild. I could barely eat it and it took the roof of my mouth off. They kindly offered to make it again but I would have had to wait for longer. I also asked for no bones and it came with bones.
The worst was that the gave me the most violent food poisoning! I have been...
Read moreI ve seen 4.9 score out of 5 in Google and was exited to go there for lunch. From first sight Restautant is so beautiful! Design is 5 out of 5 for sure! It’s stunning!
Then I asked to bring me veg burger and I left …. So angry and hungry. White bun was soaked in greasy oil, whatever was inside was tasteless. French fries I could count, 3 little pieces they put on the plate like a joke. Waiter saw that I couldn’t eat it and I didn’t like it and he brought me as a complimentary a white bread sandwich with can tasteless muchrooms inside and nothing else. I couldn’t eat it also.
To the manager: I d recommend you to use freshly cooked home made white bun and for the choice to have a whole grain bun. Don’t fry it till it leaves a puddle of oil. Don’t fry it at all, please. And use fresh ingredients and fresh mushrooms, onions rings, eggplant, zuccini, etc. And for this high price people deserve to have a French fries. It’s a good service when it comes with French fries, small greens maybe and sauces. Or don’t put nothing, when I saw this 3 pieces I was so disappointed, when I was craving for a great fresh burger with French fries. I couldn’t even touch your burger, oil was just dropping along my fingers. And size of burger was smaller then average.
Doesn’t looks healthy to me. Sorry for this review, but few days past and I still can’t forget this awful...
Read moreFirst of all let me start with the positives. The restaurant setting was stunning and the curry was absolutely delicious. One of the best tikka chickens I have tried.
What has made my review 3 stars was the pasta dish. I appreciate that whilst in India, ordering pasta is not the best idea, but the restaurant is priced considerably above their competitors and the quality was poor, it would be best for them to just not have on the menu. The sauce was gloopy and thick (and far too much) and it was not appetizing.
When we left the pasta aside and let the waiting staff know, they did their best and replaced the dish with a similar dish that was now red instead of white. We would have much preferred the chef remove or discount the item from our bill.
Overall a mixed experience, but I would definitely recommend a visit to try the...
