Le ROI Jammu Hotel — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

Experienced one of the worst customer service ever in this hotel. I reached this hotel around 4am in the morning as the train was delayed by more than 5 hours. I have pre booked 2 rooms in the hotel room through Ease my trip and made a payment of around Rs.5000. However, for some odd reason the hotel didn't get the confirmation of my booking from Ease my trip (Or they claimed that they have not received the confirmation). When I reached the reception I was told that the room has not been booked in my name as the confirmation is not received. Further, due to cellular network restrictions in Jammu my pre-paid phone was also not working. Hence, I was not in a position to make any call. Therefore, I requested the receptionist to make a call on my behalf to Easy my trip which he refused saying the customer should only call them. I further informed him that my network is not working, my senior citizen parents, less than 5 year old kids, wife are waiting outside the hotel at 4am and further requested him for his support. Forget about support, he stopped reacting to my words, then I tried taking his video but then he left his seat and went somewhere inside the hotel. I kept taking the video and followed him till certain distance but then returned back to the reception and called police who then came to our rescue and helped us in getting the room almost after 2 and half hours of frustration, pleading, shouting, exhaustion and what not. Furthermore, after checking in around 6:30 in the morning when I entered the hotel room I noted that there is no water supply in the hotel and when checked with reception I was told that the supply will resume in 10 mins, which never happened untill 3 pm in the afternoon when we decided to Checkout and leave the hotel. Overall, it was my worst experience ever. I will never ever visit this...

This hotel is average and has 4 floors. It has nice waiting area in ground floor. Lifts are available which can be activated with room card. Rooms have a sofa chair, small round table, bed table, big working table with chair. Rooms having big mirrored windows which is enough to lighten up your room. You can open windows. Rooms having multiple plug points for electric charging, so it's good. However most of the TV channels does not work properly, they changed our room for it later on. They are having Wifi for internet and speed is quite good. Bathroom is average clean and has basin with mirror. Normal water is available all the time. It's mentioned hot water in bathroom but never seen it my whole day. They will provide you with a bath towel and two 500ml water bottle. Also, they will overcharge for bottle water, 1 little water for Rs.50. They are having filter in hotel common balcony where you can fill your bottle. Suprised thing is for extra one towel they will waste your time much. Coming to hotel female receptionist, she is helful and printout few papers of ours. Stuff behaviour is good. However, their response to reception over room call is pathetic. You need to say everything in ground floor reception. They charged by room basis. We were 2 and charge was 2000. It's a good deal with big spacious rooms. Hotel is having food menu but I have not tried. Next, they have bike parking behind and front of hotel. So, if you are going for Ladakh trip from Jammu with a bike, you can park it. Most of bikers come here as Jammu is the last stop for long train journeys with bike parcel. I booked 2 rooms at hotel LE ROI jammu and it was a my big mistake. When I checked in hotel and saw the rooms which i payed 4500/- per room per night without any meal and they don’t have any basic amenities in the rooms like they don’t have tea kettle and bathrooms amenities. They mentioned in washroom for bathroom amenities on demand or on call but when you call them for amenities they totally denied. They don’t have kitchen staff and they don’t serve any meals in the room. Even I shocked when I ordered a Masala tea in restaurant the man told me sir kitchen is busy so you can go outside and have your tea. When i went at reception and shout there so they send tea in my rooms and i again shocked when i saw the tea they served tea in railway disposal glasses. How can they use railway disposal. It was really a bad experience and shocking too. In night when I ordered for dinner again the same situation they said same things again that you can go outside you can get more options how is it possible I don’t know. Really it’s a very pathetic very bad hospitality & service and for this there room tariff is too much high and they didn’t mentioned any thing about there services which they give on online portals and this is a very big fraud from guests. GOIBIBO & MMT you should also take care of this because guest believes on you and your services which you mentioned and provide.

I humble request to every guest please don’t book this hotel because it’s totally waste of money and you have a very better options in city between 4000-5000rs...
