Mall Road — Hotel in Kanpur

Avoid this oyo at any cost!! Never book prepaid bookings.. The whole staff is a lier!! Including the manager Iqbal plus the staff too. Firstly i was denied that they even recieved any booking from oyo and asked me to contact customer support! While i was on line with customer support the receptionist was continually talking to the manager iqbal to not to respond to the call from oyo and customer support tried contacting him 4 times.. He didn't responded but the receptionist said that he interacted and can't talk if you call multiple times. And they don't have rooms. But when i asked for a room directly they offered me at double the price!! Thing is why on oyo if you don't take bookings or if issues are with the prices then change on oyo itself!! Coming to the service part!! I will say please do check your bedsheets!! Even small stains and side edges too or else the room service staff will blame you for that even if its old.. Worst experience ever faced in any oyo till now!!

About the room: All walls are stained.. They don't provide toiletries. They dont provide even Tv remotes. TV is not functioning either. Washroom is filled with foul smell. Tap of the sink was loose and was not working properly. Shower was not functioning. Room floor was all sticky when walked bare foot..

So if you are paying this much then better prefer some...

Probably my worst experience oyo ever plus this is not a oyo hotel now.I had pre booked a room here for 5th December for an exam. When I went they said that they have no bookings with my name and asked me to talk to oyo customer care and when oyo customer care asked me that they want to talk to the manager they refused. So I eventually had to book a room here with no other options left and I had to pay an amount of 1700(800 from oyo app and 900 at the hotel).After I had got the room it really had a foul smell and there were hair on the bedding and even some stains.The washroom was having a foul smell and the toilet was literally having poop stains.The tv remote was also not working and the room was really very suffocating.When I arrived back after giving my exam I left the hotel in no time and even the railway waiting room was far much better than this hotel room. I would suggest everyone not to take this hotel.Instead if you are in Kanpur for few hours like for an exam like me,use the railway waiting room which is worth 10...

worst experience.Charging huge sum of amount at reception and then they show the room. I have paid for deluxe room they gave me a single bed room and said that for 1 guest they offier this room only, Andpayment they charge for deluxe room. Smallest room i have ever seen in my 3 years of travelling and charged me 1400 for 1 day. They take 1 and half hour just to make an omlete and TV channels are not working here Wifi is also not working . If you call reception regarding any of these issue they will tell you they dont know why these aren't working. Posting this review while shiiting in one of their rooms. They are also misguiding by showing their name on oyo as townhouse but in reality there is nothing here as townhouse, not even close. Don't make any payment before checking the room and must check their tv and wifi are working, then only you...
